Any news on Jody?

We have not played as comfortably at the back since he was injured and we need someone to organise at the back.

Besides it will give the team a lift to hear the South Bank in full voice;)

Don't we sing the Craddock Wonderland Song anyway every time N. Collins screws up? Same way as Freddy, Freddy fires up whenever Bothroyd/Elliott screw up.

In his last match at Ipswich he performed far worse than the present incumbent.
Craddock is sadly no improvement.

He got Injured after 20 minutes or so at Ipswich but still Soldiered on til Half Time. That's why he wasn't as reliable as usual.

Craddock is a massive improvement

We were the meanest defence with him in the centre and bossing the back four but we have leaked like a sieve since he got injured

I think you might be in a Minority if you think Jody isn't one of our most Reliable Defenders. Check back on a few week's worth of Posts round about November.

In agreement with you Dewsbury. He has been our most reliable performer since he came back from Stoke (Thanks again to the South Bank) also he forged a good partnership with Ward.Foley also benefits with having the centre secure, he only looks exposed when he is trying to cover for collins in the middle

We NEED Jody back ASAP

Craddock has done well this season but he is not the future. Certainly not good enough for the Premiership. MM needs to prioritise the CB positions and bring in a bit of class - splash some money if necessary. Pity about Cahill going to Bolton or whatever. If we had been promoted he might have been top of the shopping list in the summer.

We all know he's probably not the Answer for the Prem but let's get there first. He's more than capable of helping us get there.

as if on cue...

Jody Craddock is eyeing one of next week's reserve games for a return to action.

The defender, who has been sidelined since limping out of the Colchester game with first a groin and then a calf injury, is on the verge of returning to full training.

He says: "I'm due to have a fitness test to see if I can return to full training on Thursday.

"I think it will be wise to get a reserve game in first, after being out for so long, and then I can try and win my place back in the team.

It`s a sad state of affairs but Jody is our best centre back IMO.

Agreed. He is the best that we have got and we need him back quick if we are to continue with our two game run against better opposition.

And to think we could never understand the Sunderland/Craddock lovefest when he first came.

Hurry back Jodie unless we get a loan or new signing for the back four, we need you badly.
