Did they show all of the clips of scousers crying? How could he leave when half of Liverpool was in tears?

Could still have a task on his hands to win the fans back round, given his comments over the past couple of days.

This time last year we had a similar story - on that occasion there were some frightening rumours about him and his family being threatened with violence if he left. Now he has changed his mind again about leaving - coincidence or what??

I'm sicked and tired of hearing about it now and couldn't give a stuff as to what the bloke does.

Interesting to watch from afar.

It was to start with IMAB but it's virtually the only topic SSN are harping on about right now.

The bloke certainly isn't the be all and end all in terms of football and IMHO not worth the rediculous sums being mentioned. He's a decent player in a mediocre Prem side and all the constant talk about it is just plain boring now.

I wish we were a 'mediocre Prem side' with 'decent players' like him...

NW, my point being that Liverpool as a team are no longer the great/fantastic side they once were and Gerrard is a decent player in their current side. To me the sums being quoted for him are plain crazy. If Gerrard is worth over £30m what on earth wouth the likes of Lampard be worth or say Keane in his day?

No-one can deny that Liverpool are largely a spent force, despite somehow winning the European Cup of course!

Will be interesting to see how they do this season now that Benitez has
been given more time to sign Spaniards and players from La Liga.

Like someone said above, can we expect to see this saga appear again in
a years time after Liverpool probably underachieve once more?

Frankly I get fed up these sagas. Last time it was Rooney, this time its Gerrard. Dunno who's next and I'm not really bothered either. Selling Rooney doesn't seem to have done Everton any harm and it didn't help Man U to glory either.

Liverpool just might be better off with 30 mil and maybe they wouldn't. And while this is all going on we're worrying about the differencebetween a 1.3M and a 2M bid for Miller. It's difficult to get any kind of perspective.....
