Although you have to give it to Warne for the Aussies I've enjoyed watching Brett Lee steaming in and having, unfortunateley for us, some great spells.
Also with the bat hitting those sixes 2 of which are still on they're way up!!!
Freddies' been class though.

KP should get MOTM for this innings - it's been absolutely crucial, and in the context of the game, it has eclipsed both Strauss's monumental effort on day one, and Flintoff's bowling yesterday. Not to mention the two Aussie centurions and Warnes' 10 wickets.

Pietersen lofts Warne for six over wide mid-on and follows with a four to move to 150 not out and take England's lead past 300. His six was his seventh of the innings and a new record for England in the Ashes, beating Ian Botham's old mark of six in an innings

what a knock by giles. excellent work - we could still have looked a bit dodgy if him and the rest of our tail had folded

Still think we should have declared and given them one last battering
just to remember us by. Great stuff where is Clayton Wolf when you need
him.<!--

Great result and hopefully this now will be the start of something special for english cricket!
Now lets beat them at their grounds!
It's just dawned on me how much I'm going to miss this summers Ashes
matches. From day one when I caught the first day in a pub in Zurich up
to this evening, I've been hooked!
I usually hate summers without the World Cup or the European
Championships, but this summer the Ashes series has been a worthy
substitute.
Nice one England. It might have been the first real England team win
since 1966, but despite what the papers say it still didn't match the
fervour of Euro 96 when we got to the semis.

I went in PJs on the waterfront Merry Hill today in my lunch hour on my own(no one else in the office was interested) there were 3 guys and me sitting watching the cricket, not what you would call busy!!!
But I had a fab time well done England, my Dad would have been so proud of you all, he took me every week when I was young to watch him play and Ifilled in the scoring book, I'm sure he's celebrating now and willed us to win today, just wished he'd have been sitting next to mesmileys/smiley1.gif
I'm sure he would have enjoyed today as much as you and the rest of us <!--
