Looks like we made clearer chances despite all the aerial pressure. If we only
let in one goal away from home after an aerial bombardment of the sort
which the reports say we did (and it looks like it from the highlights) then we
should be hard to beat away from home for most of the season.

Seeing us squirm under that aerial bombardment again makes uncomfortable viewing.



I wonder if Oakes would have done better for their goal if he hadn't
had 12 stitches in his left knee just before? Stefan Postma had
stripped off ready to come on but Oakes insisted he wanted to stay on.
There was a lot of chin-rubbing going on in the dugout at that point in
the game because Seol was struggling therefore Hoddle wouldn't have
wanted to sub Oakes if he could help it, plus we had already been
forced into a substitution with Miller's injury.
