So, Hoddle is pleased with the point at Luton? He thinks it is a bonus point? That suggests he would have been happy with nothing. Should we really be considering a point at Luton as a bonus?

I'm pretty sure that Sheffield United wont approach things with such a defeatist attitude. While I'm quite happy with a point, I'm not happy with Hoddle's approach.

Apparently Gypes equipped himself well. Does anyone know what this means? Did he put his kit on efficiently? </>

what Hoddle went on to say is that it's a point we would not have got last season, and you have to say that under Jones he is probably right.

If you win your home games and draw your away games the likelihood is you will romp to promotion. I think this was his line of thinking rather than setting out to lose the game- it's not dream team and Glenn ain't Patrick Doyle.

he is not making that judgement on Luton Town(a) on the fixture list, he is just seen us outplayed totally by Luton and deserved to lose so when you get a point thereit can only be a good point surely. From fans accounts atKenilworth Roadit seems we have not been able to keep possesion of the ball at all which is not Wolves, so I am taking it we did not play very well as we onlyhad 3/4 chances.

It seems from friends I know who went to the game that the problem was no bite in midfield. Without Ince we don't seem to have any bite. I know Kennedy played well but Ricketts was a bit in and out disappearing for parts of the game. Seol might as well not bothered, so hope he doesn't play on Tuesday.

I think some people on here are forgetting that we are wolves, and as
such have to win every single match in this division 3-0 or better and
nothing less will suffice!<!--

No, that suggests that we didn't play well enough...

I really don't see the reason to panic, we didn't play well, with
a depleted squad due internationals. Jackie rested, Kenny
injured, Ince out, against a team the has started off the season like a
train at a small tight ground that we were informed by our novice
manager before the game that it would be more than difficult and we
shouldn't expect to stoke the ball about without a care in the world.

So we draw, I reckon its a good point. As for Sheff Utd take a
look at who they have played so far, thats why they have 18 points,
they have to go to leeds, soton, luton. We are we placed and will
kick on.

Mr Hoddle has never been the sharpest knife in the box, has he?

'Equipped himself well' indeed!

GH is not in the habit of defending his team. He was wild after Leeds, even worse after Cardiff. So if he says it's a point gained, then I'm not going to disagree.
