A Wolves player , at this stage of the season, appeared near the top of the goal scorers table--O.K he is bringing his goals with him but it will still be good to see SEB on the table after the week-ends games as a Wolves player :)

Carl Cort a couple of years ago, before he got injured.
Akinbiyi had scored 12 goals at this stage eight years ago, which must have put him close to the top.

He won't score any more this season.. Kightly's gone again. No wingers, no service, no creativity, no drive!
Kenny Miller?
Perhaps Dean Sturridge ?
I don't think so. Those two both went on a fantastic goalscoring runs in the second half of the season. At this stage of the season I don't think they'd scored very many.

I think that the last striker to be near the top of the scorers charts for Wolves throughout the season was Bully in 95 (could well have the year wrong - McGhee's promotion push).

Carl Cort was top for a couple of months after he got injured
Yes, Carl Cort definitely. Got to about 10 goals in record time and was top of the scoring chart, then got injured and didn't rediscover that form until later in the season. I think it was the same season that both Cort and Miller were in the top 10 scorers with about 18 each.

SEB is a dead loss, he runs around like an headless chicken, drop him and put Elliot in. Get mine in now before the deluge!

It was great when Bully was always in the top 3 goal scorers. I remember him battling with the likes of Teddy Sherringham for the award and Andy Ritchie from Oldham.
We've not really had a prolific scorer for a while, the closest would be Sturridges first season?
