Bit of a different take on the game, especially the comments about Peterborough being subhuman and Bothroyd being a cheat!
Wow, they made it seem like a good match in that report! All their players rated 8 or 9!
at least their 'soundtrack of the day' was a good choice!!

Indeed.. I see from the Sporting Life stats, Cambridge had 1 shot on target in the game and 0 shots off target. I thought they had at least 1 other shot surely. Doesn't say too much for us though with our 23 shots resulting in 2 goals. The ratings are amusing as well, defiantly based on non league I think.

Yes i think those stats prove that Wolves weren't lucky, "or got out of jail" as some people have suggested.

What a great report and support for their team!!
Had we played Real Madrid with such good effect as they played us then our players would have been scored like they scored theirs ..

I'm not sure whether the reference to "a quaint old fashioned clock" or to our "fast-breaking attack" best represents the ignorance of the writer.

Pardon?
The clock is a quaint old fashioned one. Most grounds as new as the mol have a digitial clock on display, that is readable all round the ground.
We did break quickly against Cambridge. Both Kightly and Jarvis have pace.

I dunno ..he doesn't seem particularly ignorant to me ..he clearly knows his football .. writes entertainingly and fairly, I think.

Yes I was meaning his apparent ignorance to the significance of that particular clock as opposed to it being a generic quaint old fashioned clock

You can hardly accuse a non-league supporter of ignorance concerning our clock
FFS.

Bless 'em. Hope they enjoyed their 15 minutes...
I like the bit about jaws dropping at the sight of all of 24 coaches. Bless'em. Do they think they are the only team ever to take 4000 away.
A word to my fellow Wolves fans. This is how some of us sound when we play the likes of Man Yooo. Small club syndrone. Just be cool and don't get carried away. Remember, once upon a time we did the 4000+ thing every week. Its no big deal.
It's funny how he berates the ref for awarding Kightly's free kick as well as many more to the 'theatrical hosts', yet mentions nothing about the extremely dodgy penalty which led to them scoring
