Freddie would seem to be favorite assuming S E-B does arrive. He seems last in MM's pecking order.

What song can we sing for Sylvan? His name is a bit of a tongue twister.

Bothroyd to go now we've signed someone with strength upfront. Elliott will stay unless we sign Billy Sharp.
Little (already out on loan), Davies, Gleeson, Gobern, Ikeme all to go out on loan. Maybe S.Ward, Potter and Rob Edwards out on loan too if we make a few more signings and have adequate cover.
Next summer will be when we get rid of players for good.

Has the Latvian left or is he still on trial? - no word fro the club!

I still think we'll sign another striker.....a big one (meaning target man). This guy is strong but he's not the one to lead a line or bring on to head a ball...and the E&S said we were going for TWO strikers...which might mean 2 out (Bothroyd and Eastwood).
Can't see Elliot or Keogh going anywhere.

There was something on a Colchester forum that we're going for both Clive Platt and that left back Elokobi.

hmmm...Clive Platt....I remember him at Walsall..bummed around and didn't do much.
His last 2 seasons have been his 2 best seasons...about 30 yrs old, 6'3"...might do a job as an impact player for not much money.
It would be nice to see a Wolves striker shake up a big centre half in the air at least once this season.

Mick was willing to let Jay go in the summer but instead he chose to stay and prove himself. His attitude has improved but has he proved he's going to get the goals we badly need? I can never see him fulfilling his potential here because his performances are too inconsistent and there's only room for 2 players in the squad that play as second strikers where we currently have 3 - Keogh, Eastwood, Bothroyd.

Elliot must stay for me and be given a chance. Why he's so disiked is baffling? He'll get goals!

Overall I can't see MM selling much of the deadwood until the summer, regardless of who else comes in.

A McCarthy inspired, shift the blame myth, I can't remember any manager of Wolves having so many digs at the fans over a short space of time.

So in a roundabout way, you're admitting that our supporters are not much different to any other clubs supporters & that we're not this rowdy mob of blood-baying, hate filled supporters McCarthy makes us out to be??

Are Stewarton and BILD the same person?

Out - Nobody on a permanent basis, until the summer. Loans - Little, Davies, Gleeson, Gobern, Mulgrew, maybe S. Ward if we get Ledley.

Eddie Stuart got some stick, bizarrely because he was black and he was linked with/blamed for some political or racial problems in South Africa. If I remember correctly, Stan Cullis even had to leave him out of the team for a while.

Then about 10 years after that Alan Hinton was turned on but went on to great success playing for Brian Clough.

I guess most clubs can tell similar stories though - it seems to be football in general.

Sylvan Ebanks-Blake say Sylvan Ebanks-Blake. I don't know, maybe we should ask the Plymouth supporters.

As for outs this January...

Denes Rosa
Charlie Mulgrew
Jay Bothroyd

We're going to have so many names on the back of our program that the club will have to put "PTO".

Can I go my own way?
Can I like some things Mick does and critisise him for things he does I don't like?
Or is that not allowed?

You're either one or the other, there is no happy medium apparently. Happy clapper or Anti McCarthy.

Of course you can John.
As long as you realise that anyone with the slightest hint of a pro-McCarthy comment will be labelled as a Happy Clapper.

No strikers will leave unless they want to, says Mick.

<CYNIC> When I'm goin out wiv a bird and she's doin my head in but I don't have the heart to finish with her, I kinda act a bit like an $$$$ until she gets fed up and finishes with me - everyone's a winner.

Is this the ploy Mick is going to adopt with his strikers? Not play the ones he wants to get rid of until they throw their toys out the pram and ask to leave?</CYNIC>
