I didn't hear anything until I just went onto another Wolves messageboard but some Leeds fans are saying we're interested in buying Beckford and Watford are the other interested club.

Beckford recently signed an extension to his contract.

IMO, he's done well, but whether he will maintain his form beyond this season, I'm not so sure.

We are getting towards the time when a player like Beckford may not see coming to Wolves as a step up.

Whats the point? We rarely get the ball in the friggin box, these days.

We desparately need the sort of striker who can collect the ball from our defenders, ( before they have time to hooof it upfield ), run with the ball / dribble through the opposition defence and slip the ball past an astounded keeper. He will also need to do this trick quite a few times in a game because his own defenders are guaranteed to give the opposition a few free shots / headers.
