To everyone.

Let us hope our players discipline themselves during this period and avoid heavy drinking, with the hope that they will give us good results and a lot of points. I am not that certain, for usually the Christmas period gets us a box of varieties - some bad and some good results - but I want just good results as bad results we had more than our share lately - just 2 points from possible 12.

Mugwump, sorry you've got rain as well, but it saves us being jealous of you spending your Christmas in the Summer Sun. On the other hand, spoke to a relative in Sydney yesterday and she said it had been poor weather there for a couple of months. I suppose it depends where you are in the Continent,

Merry Crimbo Everyone!!!! 10am in the morning here grandkids are wrecking the house with their timbulas and avahackers and gobbitymouths...Xmas dinner is started and I have just eaten the standard bacon, eggs, fried tommy's and mushrooms.

I have put aside the marked deck of cards for tonights games and made a trifle weighing 40lbs..all is right with the world for a few hours and I am happy in the knowledge that I have done my part to get the human race to the mess it is in today...now I pass the torch to the grandkids... God help us everyone!!!

And to the Wolves...if you can't do it we will have to get somebody younger ...and prettier!!

Christmas Day is over, now all that's left is 10lb of cold turkey and a ton of sprouts. Plus, chocolates, biscuits, cakes, nuts, trifle, a mound of wrapping paper that's too big to go in the dustbin. So it's off to the tip tomorrow with half the population of London!
