Just wondering if MM will make some more changes for the game at Barnsley? The last two home games he had to change things because of injuries but with Craddock due back and Bothroyd also available the only player missing from recent games is Kightly.
Will MM reinstate JC at CH and put Collins as LB again or will he drop Collins and leave Gray as LB? I'm hoping Gray remains and Craddock and Ward D pair up again. Nothing against Collins but Gray is a far better option as LB and JC and Ward D have been playing together a while now.
Will he persist with Ward S on the left creating sweet FA most of the game or play the bloke he signed to play there, you know young lad called Jarvis. Or will Jarvis be left to warm the bench again
Will Eastwood and Elliot remain or will Bothroyd be called back in place of one of them or will MM play as he did at the Albion and play JB on his own up front?

I can see Keogh coming in for Eastwood in all honesty...Especially as its an away game.
I wouldnt change however...
Is Kites fit??
My only change would be Jarvis, but MM seems to like SW...who is just a cheap version of Mark Kennedy?
Hennessey
Foley
Gray
Craddock
Ward
Kightley
Gibson/Jarvis
Henry
Olfinjana
Eastwood-but it will be Keogh...
Elliot

I wouldnt drop anyone from the winning team. With respect, I think Stephen Ward is improving each time he plays and his defensive play is good. He gives a different option with a Collins/ward left side .. as opposed to a Gray/Jarvis combination. I am reasonably happy with either to be fair.
One day all of the Ward detractors will realise he is playing ok and start to support him. A bit like Craddock used to be ... the scapegoat was suddenly reinvented as the hero.

i like D Ward. He looks like he has lostweight and is giving his all to the team!

A touch of the "Paul Butlers" about the whole thing.
Is Jody fit for tomorrow ?

I'd say that our clean sheets are more to do with the form of Henry and Hennessey rather than any of our centrehalf performances. Jody is doing well, but who ever we pair at the back they need the protection from Henry. Take Henry out the team and we will start conceeding whether we have Breen, Ward, Craddock, or Collins playing.

I don't think Craddock wil be available either.
If it were up to me (which fortunately for everyone involved, it isn't) we'd play:
Hennessey,
Foley, Ward, Collins, Gray,
Jarvis, Henry, Gibson, S. Ward,
Elliot, Eastwood
subs
Ikeme, Olofinjana, Keough, Little, Bothroyd
Think maybe Olofinjana could do with a rest/kick up the backside and we've chopped and changed enough up front this season, lets a see if a strike force can develop, it's not going to happen over night.
However, I don't think MM will change anything. The team that played on Saturday will be well suited to an away game, absorbing pressure, and trying to counter. IMO!!

Its a good job we play with a goalkeeper and defensive midfielder then !;)

I think Craddock will be fit for tomorrow.

Have to agree with the team here. Especially agree with the idea of forming a partnership. I think this could be our strongest starting partnership, with the option of Bothroyd and Keogh as "impact" players.

I think Bothroyd is a natural super-sub, if he can be kept happy in that role.

I saw the highlight clip...
I think when you look at his record he's not a consistent performer, but is clearly a talented creater and a dangerous threat to any defense at this level. Bring him on with half an hour as the center halfs are starting to tire, and I think he might score more than if you run him ragged for 90 minutes.

Bothroyd has to start.
If any of our other strikers had the form he had this season (when eventualy played) , then this wouldnt even be an issue.
Bothroyd & Keogh for me up front, would settle for Bothroyd & Eastwood or at a push Keogh and Eastwood. Elliot looks unbelievably poor to me, cant see how he is getting any where near the starting eleven.

I too would drop Elliott as i think he looks poor. Replace him with Keogh alongside Eastwood, which IMO will be our best partnership.

Have to disagree. Darren Ward has improved immensley since returning to the team and his performances of late have been outstanding, so too have Craddock's. I was defending Collins to a mate by saying he's not a LB but doing a decent job, but he wasn't very good at CB last game. I think our defence has raised the bar from last season with, solid and stubborn performances.

I don't think he looks poor, his all round game isn't perfect but tell me any of our strikers that have shown they've got it all lately. Elliot will get more goals than Keogh with a work rate to rival and is a different option to the others. I'll like to bet his goal ratio to games is the best from all 4 come the end of the season.

I obviously don't go to any of the matches much to my chagrin but Im curious why Jay is suffering a second bout of being dropped (not necessarily by MM but by the previous postees in this thread) after what seemed to be a promising run in the starting XI?
Not trolling, just curious.

Be nice to see Craddock come back & Jarvis for Ward. I'd probably drop Elliott for Keogh too.
Only change I can see is Keogh for either Elliott or Eastwood.

Doesn't depend on if we're playing the recent away 4-5-1, wouldn't that be the smarter approach against a team that does so well at home? do we even have 5 to string in midfield now that Kites is injured?
Bothroyd has to start.

I couldn't agree more, bothroyd is by far our best striker and our best pairing up front still seems to be keogh and bothroyd. elliot and eastwood are understudies respectively.
as for henry in defence i agree if removed then we our defence will look a lot less solid. by playing a deeper midfielder its harder for the centre halves to be done for pace as there is less space
There should be a few changes Imo as 4 games in 10 days is a lot of football. This is where we have to maximise your larger squad and use fresh legs against a presumably smaller Barnsley squad.

Darren Ward's proving to me that he can't play with Breen. Paired with JC he's been like a rock. Too similar to Breen ?

But that would need a manager who doesn't keep forcing square pegs into round holes.;)

Not really. He's better.
No Mr Bean=clean sheets & Wolves shooting up the table.

More negative points !! ;)
You should try being a Miami Dolphins fan at the minute.......our lack of goals scored/entertaining football is nothing compared to the suffering !!

Elliott may score more goals than Keogh, but I think we'll win more games with Keogh in the side.

Bothroyd and keogh/Eastwood for me up front. Looking at the defence - they still look vulnerable to me when Henry gets exposed. When Ward has to deal with a tricky little customer like Counago he looks very ropey, but on the plus side we look like a solid unit and don't get exposed one and one very often.
