View Full Version : Wolves vs Watford results
If anyone has a programme from the 1992/93 season, (or other records),
then can you confirm the results/dates of our two games against
Watford?
The normally reliable
<a href="http://www.wolves.stats.btinternet.co.uk/seasons/1990s/1992_93.html" target="_blank">Wolves
stats site</a> has this -
19/09/92 - Wolves 2-2 Watford
18/12/92 - Wolves 3-0 Watford
Presumably one should be the other way round?

19/9/1992 - Wolves 2 Watford 2
9/1/1993 - Watford 3 Wolves 1
Also played them in the FA cup on the 2/1/1993 and Wolves won 4-1.

Cheers Space Wolf, I thought that second result looked dodgy, seeing as
it was the same scorers and result from the season before (unless
Holdsworth scored succesive own-goals against us!)
As an aside, does anyone know whats going on with the Wolves stats
website? It doesnt seem to have been updated for ages, which is a shame
as it was quite useful at times.

Typical Wolves that season, go and win there 4-1 in the FA cup and when it came to the league, the week after, lose 3-1!!
I think Watford at home last year was possibly the most boring match i have ever seen.smileys/smiley5.gif
rotherham was far more dull and boring and we won that!

I went to both of those away games. Paul Furlong played for Watford then I think.
Andy Mutch tried to do some sort of handstand when he scored in the Cup game. IT WAS ONE OF THE WORST CELEBRATIONS OF ALL TIME.
Plus those allotments are like something off Eastenders. Cockney Scrubbers.
Anyone remember the 0-0 at home to Watford last season?
I'm still in a sleep-induced coma from it.
