just been looking at the charlton player profiles. i didnt realise they have what must be the 2 most hated full backs in football. could the fans unsettle mills like they did a few seasons ago while letting thatcher know what we think of him? charlton will be far and away the best side weve met this season and the boys will need the full backing of the fans. any advantage we can gain will help the lads so lets give em some stick, especially the kn*bh*ads mentioned. cant wait for it. com on you wolves!

i have never seen such hatred directed towards one player before or since the danny mills incident. fully deserved it was too.

it was a few years ago now so i doubt it'll be the same

Mills and Thatcher are the dirtiest pair of players in these isles and if we end the match with both Jarvis (if he plays) and Kightly with two legs each and one nose each I will be pleased. If they both run at them on the edge of the area we might get three or four pens if the fans are following Wallace's advice. We could just as easily get a bad Ref and get a red card or two for our younger players over-reacting to career-threatening tackles from this pair of knuckle-draggers.

They are two vulgar players but sometimes it's nice to have git in the side. I have a good feeling against Charlton as Wolves will be allowed to play there own game and the thought of Kightly and Jarvis running down the wings and rotating against them two Apes sounds promising.

When Boro came to Molineux the noise and venom from the Wolves fans caused Mills to make a mistake for our first goal and he ended up being subbed I think in the end - the only occasion I can remember in recent history when the fans have caused a player to be subbed, apart from when the Wolves fans 'persuaded' Jones that Butler needed to be subbed of course ;).

Is it the same Thatcher that knocked out Pedro Mendes in the City vs Pompey. If so i hope we brake his legs! Cant stand him

just add an s on the end of the mills chant and we're covered for both!

Just needs right side after one the left side pointing at the other.

Jobs a good un

Yes very true. I have never known such level of noise for such a long period of time and it visibly affected him.The only time I can remember a similar effect on a player was when our Jammie Smith was running the wing down the length of the Steve Bull stand full of I think ironically Palace fans. They scared the daylights out of him with some chant..

We need to get that Mills chant going again on Saturday. Lets bring some memories back for him.

I also hate Thatcher. Another disgraceful thug of a player, even more so than Mills.

I remember that game. Made me feel sick to my stomach the abuse he got that day. If I was him, I wouldn't have played for Wolves again after that - but he did, and then we threw rattle out when Jones/Moxey didn't give him a longer contract.

Mills played for Man City reserves against Wolves reserves at the Mol a couple of years ago and still got booed by a couple of hundred fans

derby, remember what Mills had chanted at him, started with a W well if Thatcher is on the pitch there's two, hence add the s

Just thought if each flank of the ground concentrated on a player each we could really get to them both, don't know the charlton sqaud too well but presumed they would be right and left back

Sometimes when facing these type of players one of your own has to stamp his mark early on to let them know you can dish it out as well. Not condoning the sort of disgraceful stuff these two regularly seem to get involved in but a hard challenge early doors can work wonders.

If I remember correctly Mills slipped in that match chasing a ball and the entire ground broke out into laughter.

Thanks Haden, I`ve only just noticed the quotation marks after the !..

I was at that game not sure if there was more venom against mills or against the hit and run merchant, the one where the coppers threatened anyone who sang the lapdancing song..

We need an Ince-type for this type of game. We're not a very physical team.
