i was thinking tim flowers or stan collymore. Both were part of our youth setup at some point wern't they?

Flowers made a dozen or so appearances for England, and Collymore made a couple. I think Collymore was originally a Smallsall apprentice though before he came to Wolves, so he doesn't really count. Alan Sunderland is another Wolves lad that went on to play for England.

I thought that Jo did OK. Hopefully a part of the add-ons that Moxey negotiated included Wolves being paid a fee if Jo became a full international.

he looked uncomfortable. nearly let their centre forward in a couple of times with poor communication with robinson and on the second occasion by letting the ball bounce. also slipped on his arse a couple of times. could have done much better but against a poor team and with such a big occasion on his hands i guess only time will tell if our Jo can hack it at international level.

I put that down to Robinson, it was clearly a ball for the keeper to come and get - an early shout and and collect and there would have been no danger.

I couldn't tell you who was the last since im more than likely too young to remember. Great to see Lescott get a run. By the way did anyone pick up on the commentator saying A.Cole doesn't dive!!!

Not the best debut by any stretch but hopefully he can kick on from here. Needs to be more assured in the centre or more adventurous at left back, but certainly his versatility is a real bonus for England.
Can't see him playing any part in Moscow however.

Watched England in crowded bar in Turkey wearing my Wolves shirt. Very proud and emotional moment especially when some fans came up and shook my hand. Well done Joleon. Hopefully many more caps to follow.

Wouldnt be surprised if he plays left back on wednesday... no other reason to shift him to that position today as phil neville could easily have slotted in there.

I agree, they seemed to want Shorey or Phil Neville there. Not sure if that's because he is basically the only cover at centre back in the squad?

At the end of the day he is a centre back & not a left back . He must be the only person to play in two different positions in 45 minutes whilst making his debut. This must show how much faith the coaching staff have in him.Well done Jo , hope it`s the first of many caps.

I thought he did pretty well, apart from the incident that led to Cashley's injury when he let it bounce in front of him. He may be needed at LB on Wednesday at some point.

Just seen on SSN that Ashley Cole is out for Wednesday. Gives Joleon the chance for a further cap and a chance to impress. It certainly makes watching internationals more enjoyabkle if there is a Wolves player involved.I include the likes of Jo and Robbie Keane even though they have moved on.

Great news when he came on, but he was totally unsure of himself. The type of debut where you may not get another chance. Anyway I also wish him well but more interested in the lads we have here at Molineux.
