He'll be delighted to have got on but he will be mightily disappointed by his performance. That was not the Joleon we grew to know and love.
A couple of nervy mistakes with one leading to Ashley Cole's injury. He did some decent things towards the end but he will look back and wish he had done better I reckon.
Just hope he gets another chance because he is without doubt England class.

Thought Lescott done okay once settled. Looked a little nervy early on but as the game wore on was always making himself available and won most every header I saw him go for.
Shame about the mix up with the GK but then again Robinson doesn't tend to instill a great deal of faith.

Early reports from England's training session say Lescott played at left back in preparation for the Russia game. I reckon he could just get the nod ahead of Phil Neville or Luke Young.
