View Full Version : Lescott's First England Cap London Wolves 13-10-2007, 16:00 Jo coming on in the second half. Well done Jo you deserve it! Good Luck! shrewsbury_wolf 13-10-2007, 16:02 Can't help but feel proud, even if he is no longer a wolves player. wolf of sedgley 13-10-2007, 16:03 Do we get any money for this? London Wolves 13-10-2007, 16:03 He got a mention as being ex-wolves when he came on - yep I'm proud! :) London Wolves 13-10-2007, 16:04 Please score Jo ;) quirky_birky 13-10-2007, 16:05 Nice one. BridgnorthWolf Inc 13-10-2007, 16:05 He nearly let Estonia in then! Rocky_Balllboa 13-10-2007, 16:06 Cole off after sight mix up with Robinson, Cole, Lescott London Wolves 13-10-2007, 16:08 Good header back Anglian Wolf 15-10-2007, 07:16 He'll be delighted to have got on but he will be mightily disappointed by his performance. That was not the Joleon we grew to know and love. A couple of nervy mistakes with one leading to Ashley Cole's injury. He did some decent things towards the end but he will look back and wish he had done better I reckon. Just hope he gets another chance because he is without doubt England class. Essex Wolf 15-10-2007, 10:38 Thought Lescott done okay once settled. Looked a little nervy early on but as the game wore on was always making himself available and won most every header I saw him go for. Shame about the mix up with the GK but then again Robinson doesn't tend to instill a great deal of faith. Essex Wolf 15-10-2007, 13:50 £250000 (http://www.shropshirestar.com/2007/10/lescott-nets-wolves-250000/) Nice little earner. Bahama Wolf 15-10-2007, 17:13 Early reports from England's training session say Lescott played at left back in preparation for the Russia game. I reckon he could just get the nod ahead of Phil Neville or Luke Young. London Wolves 15-10-2007, 20:20 Good News about Dosh & Russia game for Jo :) |
