Just had a fright - looked at the next 4 away games - Cardiff, Ipswich, Soton and Albion (Bristol City and Barnsley at home in-between). Regret to say that unless we raise our game dramatically I don't forsee much joy on our travels in October and November and then we could be well down the league and 18 matches will have gone.

By the end of this period we should at least know which way our season is going......

Well we never get anything at Southampton and wba will still be a tough game, but Cardiff and Ipswich are very winable games IMO.

True Norfolk but I think the writing will be on the wall for McCarthy before we get to Saints and Albion (unless results pick up and we have some difficult ones in store in the next month or so) and as an aside what's the odds that McIndoe puts one over us at the Mol.

Win your home, draw away. Job done. Anything else is a bonus.

I don't think it's possible to look at the fixtures and know what games were going to win or lose. You just don't know in this league, it's not possible to predict games. If we can keep it tight at the back then I see no reason why we can't go on a good run. I think Wolves have proved that they play there best football away from the pressures of the Molineux.
For those of you who think MM will be gone soon then I'm afraid your deluding yourselves.

I reckon we'll get something at Cardiff, Ipswich, Barnsley, maybe Southampton.

WBA and Bristol City will be very tough games.

You say MM will be gone by Southampton ???????????
Have you been given any indication from the board that they dont/not happy with MM performance ??? NO
So stop with the lame predictions and support the team.

quite right in saying that its our toughest run of games of the season given we have Charlton( 2nd best side in the league behind albion) , Brizzle and Barnsley( who have both hit the ground running unexpectedly)

In case anyone hasnt noticed, Ipswich have been scoring goals for fun as of late at home.. 11 goals in 4 games..

cardiff are beginning to click with their front line

saints are unpredictable but with our record there id be more than happy with a point

and sorry but unless we improve vastly we'll get a thumping off them lot down the road as they dont need 20 chances per goal scored like we do at the moment..

Before the " stop being negative" brigade have a go, im being a realist...

of our 4 wins, 2 of them we were the poorer side and the other 2 against 2 of the weakest sides in the league( Norwich being the poorest side i have seen at this level for at least 10 years)

our next 7 games will define if we are going to be good enough to challenge or not..and ultimately if MM stays in a job or not.. like it or not

NNFW can only see, hopefully, one point out of those four away games, With three points from the home games.

The air of pessimism is clearly evident here, which after last season is a massive disappointment. Unless Jarvis and the Utd lad are instant hits I really forsee no more than 3 points from the 4 away games and perhaps 6/7 from the next 4 home matches. This, whilst not disastrous, would leave us mid table and perhaps 12/14 points off top spot with 18 games gone.

I see a minimum of eight points from those four games. Our defence is tightening up. We have cohorts returning in midfield to strengthen and we will score goals if those sides continue to adopt an offensive mentality against us rather than the usual negative spoiling à la Leicester game. Relax, it's a BEEYOOTIFUL season. Stop with the negative vibes already :)

Not a lot of punctuation there.

Perhaps he means, "Hell, I'll be long gone by So't'on."

Just a thought.....

Relax lads, our biggest enemy is us! We don't believe in ourselves, perhaps because Mad Mick has convinced us that our best optiond are the ones that cannot score regularly!

Christ I hope he is right and I am a silly prat who has no idea, because that means he will make me happy nevertheless, and we will rejoice, what we all want after all.

Forza Mad Mick. Please be our Saviour. It is starting to hurt again, and the football is awful. (Bar Norwich, that was frustrating).

It's definitely tough to predict. all the aforementioned teams bar WBA are inconsistent, as are we. We could be pushing for promotion or lurking somewhere near the bottom third by December. What of MM's future?? Well, I have a feeling that Morgan's going to give him the full season unless we face a disastrous losing streak.

I would imagine that, on the supporter msg boards of the teams that you refer to,someone has posted a comment saying something along the lines of,"Wolves at home is going to be a tough game".

Ipswich have won there last four or five at home and scored a bag full of goals. So we are sure to win that one.

The way Wolves had been playing at home I didn't expect them to take 3 points off Coventry but they did so assume nothing people.
