LOL.....Miller....less than 3 mins into his debut plays an appalling ball out of touch as part of a one two and then gives his teammate a rocket for not moving fast enough. Nothing changes....all yap, no end product. ;rolleyes:

He scored twice in the Prem. when we got there. Derby will be lucky to get that from him.

I assumed he was injured as I saw him in the Sports Cafe in Brum watching the Scotland v France game on Weds- why wasn't he involved in that, was he suspended or just not included in the squad?

He was suspended, but was also carrying a knock from his last few weeks at Celtic

LOL :)

They may as well for the use he's been tonight. His control is very poor.

And then he goes and scores ..... LOL.

I did mean they'd be lucky to get two goals from him .....TONIGHT. ;) Lucky Git.

It was fate wasn't it? .....but hold on a minute, surely we're not allowed to pass comment on a game if we didn't go. ;)

A wonderful goal and Setanta missed the goal as they we're looking at a crappy replay!! Newcastle have been awful...Hope the second half is better.

I must be watching a different Wolves to others sometimes, Miller was superb for us i thought, i've never seen anyone work as hard as him, even when he'd already decided to leave his workrate never dipped.

Yes he scored 20 goals in the Second Tier but he always missed more than he scored. Won't knock his commitment though.

I've had alot of time for Miller...In the premiership he was played out of position and under Hoddle our football was negative...chances we're at a premium for everybody. Wish we still had Kenny!!

Yeah i was particularly impressed with Kenny in the season after the premiership. He came out in January and declared that he had signed a pre-contract agreement with Celtic.

This cued abuse from all quarters on websites, message boards, papers, at the matches. Fans said they would never cheer his name again and had lost all respect for him. They felt he would now give up, not put the effort in and should be dropped out the team.

However Kenny actually went out there for the rest of that season and never gave anything but 100%. He was totally professional and anyone who was at Norwich for his last game i feel will agree with what im saying. It was a game that meant nothing except to the fans, yet he gave his all and signed out on a high note.

I wish him the best of luck at Derby, but i do question why he went there.

A striker in a decent team will have 3-4 chances a game, spread that over a season.....find me a striker that scores more than he misses

LOL. Not having a pop here Flordia but I thought Miller was great for Wolves, funny how people have such different opinions on players. Then I guess thats what makes it such a great game.

That'll teach me ....enjoy it folks ;) Have to say, I thought he was a different player after he scored. Before that I thought he was poor and then a somewhat fluky snapshot ended up in the net and he was a different bloke.

As for his time at Wolves, no problem as far as I'm concerned. The only real issue was his tendancy to mouth off but otherwise he did a good job for us despite Jones (yes, another knock ;)) playing him totally out of position.

Sincerely hope he goes on to do well for Derby.

Florida - forever the gentleman :)

Don't worry mate - we all go through something like this from time to time.

As for why Miller went to Derby - er, to play in the Premiership again, I should have thought.

Kenny Miller- what a player. Those were the days!!

Worked hard for his team and erm... what else did he do quite a bit as well...?? Oh yeah that was it- SCORE GOALS.

Nevermind though- we've got Andy 'I'LL HUFF & I'LL PUFF & I'LL...... fire a 2 mph shot safely into the oppositions goalkeepers arms' Keogh.

You're a poisonous individual, BILD.

I liked Kenny Miller, but I'd take Keogh over him any day of the week.

Jeez Deutsch, are you sure?

He gave the same level of effort, but scored a few along the way! Whereas....

I think Keogh's a better footballer with a better attitude. The goals will come, he's only 21.

its a tough one deciding who i'd rather have - Keogh or Miller?

keogh has a much better temperament but miller scored more goals. i dont think keogh is untouchable. he does put a lot of effort in which clearly MM loves... but at the end of the day, strikers are supposed to score goals. And if he hasn't started scoring within a couple of games i think an Eastwood/Elliot partnership will be on the cards.

Hope to god he starts improving or else thats another £600,000 spunked up the wall

Why is that comedy? I would run my socks off every saturday for Wolves and not score and do it for free.
Keogh's issues are:- poor final ball, no end product, weak in the tackle and poor heading ability. You need to take the rose tints off and realise keogh is not that great a player...yet!

Bilston_Wolf
18-09-2007, 11:33
I like Keogh, i think he's got a great deal of potential but he does need to start putting the ball in the net, thats not to say i'm going to start having a go at him because i appreciate his workrate.
I said at Leicester last season that the chances that Keogh misses could come back to haunt us, i got shot down considering we'd just won 4-1 but missed chances cost us in the play offs and they're costing us now.

Timberwolf
18-09-2007, 11:58
Bilston, i'm not going to knock the guy either but neither do i think he is as good a player as Miller. He does need to start showing some improvement, which i believe he hasnt done since he came to us.

Other than the season we went up Miller was awful, yes he ran around At full back, at centre half, at centre midfield. Never ever where he should have been

As for missed chances Miller missed more than anyone else in the team, and not just half chances. Blasting a volly over from 3 Yards.

Now someone will tell me he created chances for others, no he never cos he was not in the right place enough of the time

$$$$ me the dick heads are out again. Miller was and is $$$$e apart from the time we had him on loan. Keogh is a different gravy. Lets see what Miller has done at the end of the season. My money is on him looking for another club having mouthed off and whinged for a season whilst producing $$$$ all on the pitch.

Anyone who has any doubts about Keogh's ability
