Interesting to read the Seyi missed the team photo because he was sitting an exam for his degree course.
He already has a degree in chemical engineering doesn't he? I wonder what he is studying now?

Possibly a footballing first? Although Bill Slater was a bit of an academic, I believe. Are Wolves the most intellectually gifted team of all time? (Slight hyperbole maybe, brought on by irrational love of home-town football team). What with Craddock's alleged paintings & all.

I wonder if we could get a fee for him if, say, ICI wanted to snap him up? :D

None of those guys had two degrees, though. That's the milestone Seyi's heading towards.

Seyi seems like a smart guy, and he's obviously trying to set himself up for life after football, which all too few footballers do. Power to him.

i think i remember an interview with one of the players this pre-season and olo is furthering his chemical enginering to a master's level i think. so technically not a second degree but not many footballers will have BSc and MS after there names.well not degree's they have studied for a few may have honnoury.
interesting whilst there has been alot of criticism of olo for all but last season, it may well surprise some people that he did not turn pro till after he had done his degree. he turned pro at 21 think spent 1 season in nigeria or maybe even went straight to norway and then we signed him after his first season in norway, when he played 2 season's back to back effectively.
think he will continue to develop and mature alot with his game as he was a late starter. but not quiet in the stuart perece and ian wright manner.

If you put your bachelor's degree as well as your master's degree after your name, you're just a pillock trying to impress the great unread. Like trying to put (1st) or (1st Hons) after your B.A., B.Sc. etc. I'm sure Seyi wouldn't do that.
Aren't those abbreviations more likely to be B.Eng and M.Eng (or BE and ME), anyway?
Did you get a second Atlas?

....technically not a second degree...
An M Eng IS a degree in its own right. As he already holds a BEng, he'll have a second degree.
What ever happened to he old fashioned pro footballer who spent his spare time in the pub/bookies/both? He's been wasting his life on mass balances, heat transfer and yeild coefficients, but he knows nothing about the price of a pint, where the best chip shop is located or who's running in the 4:15 at epsom.
This new breed of footballer has lost touch (with something)...

No drinking, smoking or Golf?
I'm with him on the smoking thing, but surely being able to swing a golf club will open more doors for him in later life than bing able to design a heat exchanger.
, but surely being able to swing a golf club will open more doors for him in later life
Perhaps he has some pride and wants doors to be opened to him because of his talent, not who he brown nosed with at the club?

Ian Dowie, David Weatherall, Socrates.
I appreciated the Socrates touch. Unless of course you were referring to the fact that the ex- Brazil and Garforth player had obtained a degree of some description.

I was referring to Sócrates Brasileiro Sampaio de Souza Vieira de Oliveira the legendary Brazilian footballer who graduated in medicine and who also has a doctorate degree in philosophy.
