Job Description: Suitably qualified applicants are invited to apply for the position of Fitness Coach at Wolverhampton Wanderers FC. The successful candidate will be required to be responsible for the strength and conditioning of the professional players, both on and off the field of play, and other responsibilities commensurate with sports science related support in football.
It is expected that the successful candidate will be qualified to Masters level in Physiology and already have experience of working within professional football. Some experience in the use of Prozone match analysis would be advantageous.
Or maybe just skilled at playing Football Manager? ;)

Look back to those play off games against West Brom and we were running on empty after 60minutes of both matches....totally freakin knackered and hardly created a chance.
Perhaps that was just youthful inexperience catching up with a lot of players who'd joined throughout the year and maybe they weren't as fit as they could have been....but this guy has given us a full pre-season and we should be able to get somebody in to carry on the job no problem.

But when we played West Brom we did too much running! We didn't have much composure, we went out like a bull at a gate and you simply can't keep that tempo up all game. It doesn't matter how fit you are.
I'm very happy with the fitness of the team last season. They just need to keep the ball better because against teams with more quality we will suffer for it.

This a real blow imv. I just hope we can nick someone else of similar quality but I doubt if it will be easy. Suddenly just before the season starts there are a whole lot of negatives appearing and I hope this doesn't mean we are going to have further bad luck. Only ever heard good about him and met him briefly once - seemed a really nice guy. Wish him well and Reading are fortunate.

Done a great job here and is a big part of the work rate last season, i wish him all the best but we just lost a key member of the team :(

or just a change in the times and much there are much fitter players now (especially defenders) than in Bully's era... also, try this one - just imagine what Bully would have acheived had he been guided by a fitness coach on a proper fitness and diet regime... maybe we'd have made it to the big time if our teams of the 90s were at the peak of fitness.
Times change, if you don't change you get left behind.

Shame really. Watching him during games the players seemed to have a lot of respect for him and he always used to go mad on the touchline.

I did a quick search on FM2007 last night, and there are loads of fitness coaches better than Kunle.
In all seriousness, he was obviously well liked by the players, but what were they comparing him to? I think prior to Hoddle it was Jones and Holmes that sorted the close season regime etc.
