Having been in the US now for a little while I'm trying to get into Major League Socher (a poor substitute for being at the Mol every week but at least its not tractor pulling)...
Saw the LA Galaxy play Mo Johnston's Toronto last night and low and behold there in Midfield (if you looked very long and very hard) is our very own Carl Robinson.
He seems to be playing the midfield general role he learnt from Simon Osborn, his passing wasn't the best and I swear I saw Beckham put down his notepad and start reading the local paper everytime Robinson took a corner or a Freekick in a dangerous position. His work rate was good, got behind the ball and he put himself about a bit but he's still short on real quality.
In short there was rumor on here a while ago of a loan in the making, on this performance he hasn't much improved since he left us I'm afraid.
