...Siouxsie Sioux. According to The Word magazine, Siouxsie passes her time in France now, reading, deadheading & watching sport "especially Wolverhampton Wanderers. My brother picked them as his football team in the '50s and they became my team too, though any time I mention this they always seem to do badly. What I loved about them was the black and gold kit and the wolf's head. That was it for me! I remember Derek Dougan. The Doog! He was a skinhead before there were skinheads."

Indeed. I believe that was when he played for the Villa. He was given a nckname at the time as a result of his action. Was it Geronimo?

I heard about her being a Wolves fan when we were in the play off final, she cancelled a concert or something to be there.

To make my memory fade???????????????????

No, fill in the gaps, like a hair piece on an ever-widening central parting. Looks OK from a distance but doesn't fool anyone close up.

The takeaway around the corner used to be called Hong Kong Garden.

How about some Banshees prior to kick-off?

Had a dance with Siouxsie once at an all nighter at the top rank in Stafford. I think 999 and the Heartbreakers played and the Banshees. Now I know why she fancied me so much. she obviously realised I was a like mind.

What you meant to say was "I danced in the same building as Siouxsie once and over the years this oft-told pub story has morphed into me having actually danced with her".

I'd have Siouxsie Sioux in preference to any of yours.

There's a Montreal band called We Are Wolves. May not actually be Wolves' fans, but it sounds good & I doubt if there are any groups called We Are Baggies/Throstles/Tescos/Sandwell or any variation of the same-outside of WS/Birmingham post code area anyway.

She's a bitch she stamped on my mates hand in 1977 with her high heel boots. She dropped her hankerchief and my mate went to grab it. She bent over and said "Why do you want to steal my hankerchief, it's the only one I've got?"

Pauline Penetration - now that was a babe!

The band I was in for a few years used to practise in the studios in Newcastle owned by her and her husband. Bit of useless trivia for you! They were both very decent people btw.
