I have just seen a match photo of Freddie Eastwood in the Express and Star from last night's match. I don't know if it is me, but I hope it was just him wearing a slightly unflattering sized shirt but he seems to have put a bit of weight on in the summer I then saw the photo of him and Kights walking bare chested along the beach on the front page and he is certainly not as slim as Kights. PS Who am I to talk anyway.!

He had a back injury recently. I would imagine that he isn't quite as fit as he might be because of that.

I am aware of that but he has only been away for about 10 weeks . I would imgine he is someone that probably has to constantly work on his fitness.

Maybe he is built in the style of an old-fashioned centre forward instead of a greyhound. His type of player doesn't get knocked off the ball easily.

He's just a fat $$$$$$$$$$$$.

doesnt look fat to me. If he had the physique of Potter or Mulgrew for example I'd be more concerned!

Don't worry, he's got time to get match fit and if he's not quite ready for the start of the season we've got competion for places now.

Id rather have a strong-bulky forward than a skinny-weak one. Wouldnt you?

As long as he's not as bulky as Blobby Taylor!

Keogh's quite skinny.

Keogh's quite skinny.

Nah, just quite tall. He's got the torso of a young Peter Andre only without the banana addiction to go with it

He probably wasn't given the kind of summer fitness programme that the rest of the lads were given. Mick will soon knock him into shape.

Essex boy-probably likes his jellied eels and cockles, not forgetting the odd pigeon pie and roasted hedgehog.

He didn't stand out as a porker at the Bray game. He was obviously not 100% match fit at that game, and limited his activity to short sharp bursts - which looked sharp enough when he turned it on. No doubt the fitness will come quickly. He's not in the Blobby Bob Taylor bracket by any stretch of the imagination.

Craig Davies was very thin and very quick he was also very cack and couldn't score.

Eastwood is going to make all the difference this season. If Bothroyd gets his act together too I think they could be devastating together at this level. And Keogh and Elliott in particular are excellent competition/support. Things are looking better up front than for a long, long time. Eastwood will get sharper and sharper and if he avoids injury could get 20 goals for us.

Freddy looked fine, don't worry. He was pretty sharp in the match and the finish for his second was fantastic.
