I have to agree about Nielsen, was a class act - a real shame we didn't sign him up.


Its a tough question though, as the number of $$$$e loans outways the good ones 10-1.


I would have to say Sturridge or Richards when we (strangely) loaned him before buying him.

Can't understand the fuss about Nielsen. Other than one game against Barnsley, IIRC, he was pretty anonymous. He hardly pulled up any trees for Watford when he went there, did he?

Guy Whittingham was a good striker, but Miller was great when he was on loan. Probably never repeated that kind of form since. I remember thinking we should sign him whatever the price.


Also, was Mark Walters on loan? He looked very good and i was baffled as to why we never signed him.
