Can't see a young 20 goals man in the list? I like Todorov but he is injury prone and with our record we don't want to go there.

We could sign Shaun Newton to clean Kites boots. I liked Newts but he lost his way.

Ryan Garry, Stephen Jordan, Mark Delaney, Henrik Pedersen, Claus Jensen.

In order of possibility - most to least.

Malcolm Christie as a gamble? Decent player for Derby at one time, done bugger all for Boro, but worth a shot on a free.

I've always thought Claus Jensen was a tidy player, Michael Gray at LB aswell.

I don't think we will sign anyone though from that list.

I'd take Radzinski from Fulham. Doubt he'd come though.

I heard that he was in talks with Forest.

Jordan would do well at left back or possibly Olivier Bernard. Craig moore at a push and Christie on a pay as you play contract..

When MM mentioned a transfer boom he didn't mean at Wolves. He meant across the leagues in general.

Yes, we know that... but what about the transfer bloom?

Of course, he was taking about Fernando Torres joining Liverpool for £27m.

McCarthy never even uttered the words 'transfer boom'. He just said that clubs will do more business once their players come back off holiday.

I think I read yesterday that he has.

I'd like Jordan from Man City most out of that lot, he fits into the young and hungry ethos and would fill a problem area, I am surprised Man City have let him go.

none quite frankly - don't fit the business plan (see new thread for explination)
