View Full Version : Here we go again...
We haven't even got a new owner yet and we're chucking money around.
I demand to know why MM didn't find us a 50 goal a season striker from the Sudbury paper Boys League for £5.25.
We're back on the slippery slide I tell you.

I can see us maybe signing someone next week since we're linked with Eastwood and the like, plus you'd want most of your new signings to have a decent pre-season together so they can familiarise with one another's styles and etc. Especially as far as defence is concerned.
In terms of loans.. well we'd probably bring those in a few weeks before the regular season starts because of course Premiership managers need to assess the situations at their own club first. Rossi from Man Utd (striker) is a possibility mind.

Charlton have paid £2m out for Varney and £650k for P. McCarthy
Preston have paid an undisclosed fee for Jones.
Watford paid £2m for McAnuff.
Plenty of free transfers happened as well.
And that's just this division.
