He certainly seems to have been at the end of some sharp (no e!!!) practices over recent years with the conduct of his players in trying to get transfers.
The bungs issue is a seperate one entirely though but I'd wouldn't be surprised if the allegations are true.

Look at some of those players involved in the Bolton transfers though - Ali Al-Habsi, Blessing Kaku, Julio Correia - never heard of them!

Blessing Kaku - Nigerian midfielder (now playing in Israel)
Julio Correia - Fullback (right back i believe) signed from Levante on a free as he was out of contract (around march or so of this year.)
