Summer Work Begins
Close season maintenance work has begun on the pitch, with the club's ground staff removing the top 15mm from the surface ahead of re-seeding.
This summer will also see some additional work carried out to improve drainage of the Molineux turf.
Club secretary Richard Skirrow explains: "Whilst we were very pleased with the way the pitch performed last season, there are still isolated patches that have drainage problems.
"To remedy this we have put some extra drainage slits into the affected areas. These are basically perforated pipes that connect up with the main drainage system, and we should see an improvement during periods of heavy rainfall."
Does that mean they put the the old turf back down or use new ?anyone know
