If the A***** win on Monday, we've got rid of 2 highly emotional and very tough matches, which are often more trouble and disruption than they are worth.
If Derby win on Monday, .............we can just have a good old larf !!!!!

I'll be happy to play the Boggies next season. We'll have as good a squad as them by the time we all kick-off. They'll have the disappointment of losing at Wembley, their "stars" will be gone, they'll be on the last year of their parachute payment and will have the most miserable manager in football.
You can see what happened to them last season happening again, from the games against them they have not been generous in support of mowbray, and from 1 or 2 I have spoken to they think about as much of him as we do.
We will have a progressive owner from June, I could see theirs being tight with the dosh whatever division they are in.

would obviously rather have albi*n lose on monday, this will result in them being upset, £60m out of pocket, having to face a stronger wolves team atleast twice next season and it would also be nice to see them drying their eyes on their tesco bags down in landan town

With all their squad they finished level on points, who will know what will happen next season. But its better if they are in the same division at least for another season. if we (big if) were to get promoted and they missed out again all the damage from the blow up year til now would be undone in a stroke. £60m its better in our pockets.

Another scenario is that they win and get promoted this season and then we pass them on our way up and their way down next. He who laughs last and all that!!

They will then have £60m in the bank, so they will be laughing longer:rolleyes:

The kind who lets Wolves go for £10, in order to ensure £30 million investment into the club? I'll settle happily for that kind of chancer!:p

Sorry to disappoint, but I dealt with that post as a moderator, I didn't need to post my indignation as you put it.... my reply to you was as a fellow poster, no more, no less.

Nothing very interesting.

This £60 million really is a crock of $$$$e. When you take out transfer monies, wages, other costs then there really ain't that much money to be made. In their premiership season Naarwich made a grand total of £600,000 after taking account of all costs. If the boggies go up they will almost definately come straight back down and will be in a worse state than they are now. Players wages are going to go through the roof again next season.

Vicar, lots of truth in that - more money = another hike in transfers, wages, sign ons... another Leeds Utd will probably be in the making me thinks.

It's only just over 26million for last place + 11million per year parachute payment. So not even 60million anyway, especially when it's spread over 3 seasons.

Thats because there wasn't £60m on offer when Norwich were in the premier league - the prize/losing money has gone up significantly from the start of 2007/8

That doen't include the revenue from TV + Radio coverage, just as a small matter look at these prize money figures from previous seasons. Thats the reason why we wouldn't want WBA to go up as our nearest and dearest. So £26m is a big improvement on the previous £500k.

I have never and will never want the Tescos to win any game. Promotion on Monday would give them the dosh and the bragging rights however short lived those may be. Remember how good we felt at Cardiff, I couldn't wish that for any Boggie.

Albion already have bragging rights with the results this season and the history (is it 7 wins ahead now?)
A win on Monday will be unbearable and will take a few years to put right!!
They lose and their world will crash around them.....
Please Derby win this one........

Can't say I've every had any feelings for Derby County, either way. They've never been local rivals in my opinion, dispite the media's references to "Midland's derbies".
However, they do play in black and er...gold....?...oh alright, black and white! but that's near enough for them to get my support.
Up the Rams ( for one game only! )
