View Full Version : Charlton season tickets
did anyone see the early-bird style offer charlton gave their fans ? If they renewed their season tickets before the cutoff time they get a free season ticket for the prem if they get promoted straight away. Thats a pretty good offer in my book.

They're not expecting to go straight back up then! Great offer though.

It's a great offer, as much as I dislike Charlton they are light years ahead in P.R and trying to attract supporters to the club.
They also put on subsidised rail tickets to away games, and bus people in from afar afield as Sussex and Kent to home games.

All very true, but when it comes down to it do fans want new players or coach travel?
My point being charlton have never been big spenders in terms of players and therefore will never consistently challenge for the top half of the table.

My point being charlton have never been big spenders in terms of players and therefore will never consistently challenge for the top half of the table. They've made a hell of a lot better challenge than we have to finish in the top half of the table, and that's the Premier league as wel. They're a club light years in front of us when it comes to being managed properly,I'm sure they dont need any lessons from Wolves.
I'm not sure its a good idea. If they just miss out promotion their fans don't only have to deal with that dissapointment but also the fact that they will have to fork 500 quid for another season in the Championship. I can imagine the consipiracy theorists on the Charlton equivalent of Molineux Mix already.

No doubt it would be Jez Moxey's fault....
