Terrific atmosphere yesterday, especially for much of the first half but was very dissapointed we didn't manage to sell out for what everyone keeps describing as the biggest BCD ever. Very poor show.

When you don't put them on general sale until 36 hours before KO, what do you expect?
Also, 1 per season ticket holder holds you back. Many STH's would get extra tickets for their mates when they buy their own.....but if they've already had to buy their own ticket they're not likely to go back again especially to buy an extra ticket for a mate when it's announced the day before the game that they can now buy 4.

Don't forget our capacity was reduced for the game. They had netting all along the back of the $$$$$ fans for two or three rows, plus the same on the wings of the Steve Bull upper. I did see a few empty seats at the extremes, but that was about it.

The tickets were not on general sale in the accepted sense of anyone can buy one. You still had to have a supporter number which automatically omits the casual fan.

Seem to remember a few empty seats at the North Bank end of the BW Upper - corporate area...?

There were probably a hundred or so spare at each end of the BW Upper, plus I imagine a fair few singles scattered around the stadium.

I know the way we sold them may not have been ideal but I still think everyone who wanted one could have gotten one so it's dissapointing we couldn't sell 25,000 tickets for our biggest game in a long time.

there were 775 unsold tickets and this is completely due to the way the club sold the tickets. We have a ticket office and yet you cannot buy tickets there.

Even on sunday morning they were advertising on the website that tickets were available, telesales only. I presume Moxey was more concerned with the income from the telephone rip-off than actually selling tickets.

"Official" attendance was 27,750 so if you subtract 2,750 Tesco then we did indeed sell 25,000.

It is almost extreme we couldnīt sell out for this one!
We sold out the FA cup tie,and regular leauge game as well.
I never thought this was going to be anything else than a sellout.

i know its hard to believe, but many people do not have computers and just want to buy via cash.
We alienate a lot of fans.

Ye but that not true! My dad phoned on friday without a supporter number and was asked how many he wanted - typical wolves admin!
