Whats this supposed to mean? -

"At the moment they're drawing too many games like we have been......"

"Like us they drew a lot of games last season and you have to turn them into wins if you want to be in the play-offs."

Erm, unlike you Jermaine, we HAVE started turning draws into wins towards the end of last season and into this one!Edited by: Lupo Italiano

It's encouraging that teams still think we draw a lot of games, when in reality as has been stated we have won more than we have drawn in the last dozen games or so, and lost none.

Let them underestimate us.

theres a massive theme of this though - the papers were saying it
before the season and indeed after our first game with soton. its
partly because we have only lost 1 game under hoddle, so people look at
the complete record, rather than what we have done in say the last 10
games. if you look at the complete record there are quite a few draws
in there.

im fine with people underestimating us as well.

You are jesting right?

PB was a reliable and half decent CH for us 2 seasons ago. we now have a better defence than when he last played for us. He is past history and I care not a jot for what he now says.

They want us to attack them......of course they do.

That's why we'll defend and do them on the breaksmileys/smiley4.gif

as opposed to rob edwards and no other defensive cover? definatly- still a decent player at this level and we need a strong defender instead of the daisies we have at the moment (the injured gypes +J Lo apart)

Losing Gyepes hasn't helped our cause but with Craddock and Clyde out as well it makes hings look even worse. However if all were available do you honestly thing an aging Paul Butler would be ahead of all of them because I know I don't.

Draw specialists, $$$$ who does he think we are, the Rolf Harris fan club?

Jerm.... no sorry can't remember his name...., didn't he leavefor some carrot cruncher club with tractors involved, then got found out and went to some bankrupt backwater in West Yorkshire?Edited by: Black Suit

Black Suit,

yes. We told him he wasn't good enough for our level, so he went to play in the Premier League. That must have been below us, yes? Then his team went to play in something called Europe, I imagine that's like the old Conference.

BTW Phil should be in his local tomorrow at about 1 p.m. if you are around.

I know Jermaine personally from his Millwall days and whilst he's a very laid back guy I know he was p22sed off with how he was treated by GT, he performed very well in the reserves but every time he got a first team chance he was played on the opposite wing, and consequently never performed to his capacity. His injury problems have hampered his progress in the long run but there is no doubting he can turn it on on his day and if he plays we should pay careful attention to him.

Why? He's useless, past his best and sounding more of a $$$$$$
every time he opens his mouth. Didn't Leeds do well last
season. we were crap and still finished above them. Sad
bitter never was.

What Butler should have said of course.

Oh $$$$$ we are playing Wolves next week, They got rid of me because I wasn't good enough. They are far better than we are. We have absolutely no chance. They are going to murder us.

Would have gone down well on the official Leeds web site smileys/smiley1.gif

Jermaine Wright was an excellent player who was indeed always played out of position by olf Inflexible Mind. He was the only player at the club at the time who could receive the ball without it bouncing two yards away. He could pass well and was an intelligent player and went on to p[rove it. He would have done well under Hoddle. We have had some very stupid managers over the years.

It sounds like Stewarton Wolf is the one that is bitter.
