Just got my tickets for the game tomorrow and the guy at the ticket office reckons we are looking at a gate of between 23-24 thousand and the Blues have still got over 500 of their allocation still to sell.
This seems to link in with what I have experienced at work this week. I dont know if it's just me but there just doesn't seem the same expectancy/atmosphere building up to Sundays game. When we played the Baggies last month the office was buzzing with banter for a whole wee, but for some reason, even though everyone is saying how "crucial this game is for both teams" there has been nothing like same hype.
Is anyone else getting the same feeling? I can't explain it.

The Bluenose who work's at our place, is to thick to have any banter with to be honest.:)

there has never been the same feeling about this fixture - wolves and blues fans just do not "inter-breeed" like Wolves and albion fans.
They were only given 2200 and cannot sell out, I doubt there will be 23000 tomorrow with it being sunday, 12noon and live on tv.

Thats being the norm this season for the Bluenoses.

Maybe they are looking at the current matches to see if they need to get the tickets on the 11th hour....Boo the Blooes!
maybe because the match is on Sky

Blues had about 200 tickets left from an allocation of 2,600 at midday. Its pay on the pay for Wolves fan so I reckon the crowd will be close or around 25,000.

If we don't fill our stands we don't deserve to call ourselves a "big club"........the Blooze aren't a big club anyway so they're never likely to take up their entitlement!

I don't think the majority of us do call ourselves a big club (takes a step back)

We're not anymore! Not when teams like Reading, Wigan, Fulham, Portsmouth are light years ahead of us... We could be again one day if MM keeps working miracles...

They are not light years ahead of us. If anything they just show how small clubs can do quite well in the premier league during their first season.

We're a big club because of our history, which has left us with residual support much bigger than comparable clubs in medium sized provincial towns / cities.
As long as Wolves don't leave it too long before getting re-established in the top division we should manage to be better supported around the Country than Reading, Wigan, Fulham, Portsmouth, etc..........but we don't have long. If we stay out of the Media much longer we will just become a Huddersfield.

portsmouth are massively supported, everyone, men women and kids support them, you hardly ever see another football shirt in town.
its not like that in wolvo.
