any Leeds win is not "a very nice result" at all

After Wise's comments to the press regarding Healy, I fancy Preston wining by at least 3.

I would prefer a to be in the playoffs and Leeds not to be relegated than the opposite of the scenario...

I'd prefer both us getting in the play-offs and Leeds getting relegated.

I still remember Billy Bremner..
From my outside perspective-got nothing against the Yorkshires really.
Agrees with Moira.

Preston can lose at QPR as long as they beat the Leeds filth to a pulp. I want Leeds relegated. Quickly. Permanently, with no chance of redemption. Preferably to the Beazer Homes League.

I was down the cafe talking to my mates about the Preston game and how much I hate Leedscum this lunch time. A great big hairy builder on another table piped up and said he was a Leeds fan. I quickly changed the tone and hoped they do wolves a favour and wished them good luck. Good job I didn't mention Billy Bremscum :)

I only wish they could take Bolton and Leicester with them!

Hmmm Billy Bremscum - that didn't quite work did it
I'm going to be ambitious and say our promotion chances are in our hands, who cares what Preston do?
Imagine we beat the B*****s to second spot, they loose in the play off final AND Leeds get relegated (and to rub salt into the wounds, Dennis Wise is given a 10 year contract with Ken Bates revealed to be a Peter Risdale puppet)

My preferred result although I fear Leeds might now stay up.
Indeed. Think Leeds will stay up and, sadly, could do well next season.

We now have a bit of a dilema to face tomorrow as to whether we want Cardiff or Sunderland to win their game.Personally I've written off automatic promotion and would prefer to see Sunderland beat Cardiff, and with us winning tomorrow a place off spot would be a lot closer.I'll happily settle for the teams above us winning as long as the ones beneath us lose.

I'd personally like to see West 'Barcelona' Albion lose every game for the rest of their history. And go down with the scum ring that is ironically called the Mighty Whites.
Important thing is that we don't get the squeaks this weekend.

if we win then a cardiff/sunderland draw will do us.. extends the gap with cardiff and keeps sunderland well within distance
Blues and derby have both got very tough games this weekend.. by 3pm sunday automatic could still be very much on.. and then make next week at SOL absolutely massive

agree, obviously i want cardiff to drop as many points as poss but if it brings sunderland back in touching distance then a draw would be fine IMO
the biggest thing for us is to win tomorrow and knock saints out of the equation as no chance will they make 9/10 points up on us in 6 games.. im then confident we can gain enough points to finish above ONE of cardiff, albion or preston..
if results in certain games go our way over the next 10 days then 3 wins and 1 draw out of our 7 games will be enough IMO to finish in the play offs..
im still not ruling us out of automatic yet though.. the spirit, energy and hunger within the squad, especially after the break is good enough to win 5/6 on the bounce again with a bit of luck along the way..i can see derby and blues both dropping points this weekend

I have no love of Leeds at all, but I think tonights result was in our interest. I still believe that Cardiff are a big threat to our chances so I would prefer a Sunderland win.
I am not sure we can make automatic, its not impossible but for that to happen we must win 6 out of the last 7 matches, that would give us 84 points. I also think that we would have to beat Sunderland, Southampton and Blues along the way.
We will know more after the bank holiday games

Daft - we've probably got the least experienced side of the sides that could make the playoffs and in the sudden death playoff crap experience counts !!! (Look at the side that got us up against Sheff Utd)
I would prefer and think we can fluke into an auto place - with Brum not in great form and Derby prone to slipping (a mate of mine a seaon ticket holder still can't believe they are where they are and also said Hull played them off the park a couple of weeks ago) - auto promotion is definately on !
I reckon us and sunderland !

At this stage of the season with several teams so closely positioned, the most important ingredient is nerve and belief, i.e the overused cliche - bottle. Our team has this in spades, it would not surprise me for Gratters prediction to evolve, us and Sunderland!

Absolutely if we cant win our matches in this division how do we expect to cope next season. Personally though I would be happier seeing us develop in this league for another season so that we would be stronger for the challenges of the premiership.

That's quite true Highlander but if you were to look at the standings,we are merely 7 points behind the leader. We have a relatively very young team and this is something we would relished because we will never know what the young lads on the pitch have in store for us..C'mon Me WOLVES!!!!!!!!!!!!Go For The KILL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

But the season after next we'd have £30 million to spend!

30 mill spent wisely can help to make that difference but only if we have a good basis of a team to start with.
