Meant to say the other night, however was lost in euphoria for a day or two, but having watched Healys latest two goals for Northern Ireland ive noticed a deadly similarity between his playing style and that of our great Buly. Although he may be a lot more undersized and slighter in build, and i kow hes to small to be a threat in the air, but he has the same attitude to striking, such a similar style in movement and the same eye for goal as the great man. Where most forwards now will take a touch and hold the ball up in the box, Healy, like Bull will shoot first and ask questions later. Now dont get me wrong, there is only one Bully and always will be, but i just find his goals, positioning and movement so similar to Bullys. Hes not a mouthpiece, lets his goals do the talking, humble and plays with a firey passion.
Im sure a lot of you who had the pleasure of watching Bully a lot more than me over the years, might also see this likeness, and it led to me thinking wouldnt it have been nice if Healy had found his way to the Mol in the last year or so, we'd have had visions of Bully all over again.

Yeah, now he's even got the haircut to match. i think he would have been a good signing for us in the transfer window, but unless we're in the Prem next season, he's going to go elsewhere - I think Rangers are interested.

MM probably doesn't like him nayway becuase he's NI and not Rep!

Glad it is not just me UW - when I saw that turn and half volley against Sweden the other night I immediately thought of Bully and the more you watch Healy play the more his style is reminiscent of him. I can't believe Leeds don't manage to get more out of him than they currently do.

Exactly BW, and the second, just pure instinct. Like i said thats just what Bully would have done.. what everyone wouldnt have expected him to do! Shoot on sight, im a firm believer in good old fashioned gunslinger style striking.
Just a pity he's stuck in the Leeds mire, can you imagine what he might have done fior us this season with the renewed width and pace we now have up the flanks and with Keogh etc. Ah well, you never know, however Rangers might just sound too good to him to refuse at the moment, however Nuneaton sounds a better place at the moment than Leeds hahah!

Very similar to Bully's against the Czech Republic from the Gazza pass.

Hmm,as a Swede I suffered first hand.
Itīs okay though,Ulster-we are both Wolves fans!
Regarding Healy, two class goals indeed. The guy is really hot in green, not so much in white but perhaps Dennis Wise really noticed how to use him.
He got two chances and scored two goals. That is topclass performance from a poacher forward.
First goal very fine..second one worldclass I think.
Needs to find consistancy in the leauge games though.
Still, the guy knows how to score for sure.
As I said,suffered firsthand as a fan.

Trust me - nowhere is as bad as Nuneaton.

By the way UW - do you have the "We're not Brazil we're Northern Ireland" T-Shirt that seemed to appear everywhere following the victory over England?

Now that'd be a good moto for a Wolves shirt ... "We're not Brazil we're Wolverhampton"... just the right amount of irony :D

Well its like this Emp, i think theres no doubt you'll still go through top of the group, i mean theres no question that Sweden is a strong team and play a smart style, they got beat by two great strikes, thats all. Sweden had a great support with them also, best of any of the teams so far, and it was a pleasure to share the bar with so many stunning blonde Swede females. There was a lot of this  in the bar!
