View Full Version : Blackburn Rovers UEFA Cup Tie
Just out of idle curiousity does anybody know why Blackburn's match tonight kicked off at 6 pm. Seems a stupid time and I know if it was Wolves it would give me no chance of getting to the game after work

As our Purple friend says it was down to German TV. However, Blackburn reacted by offering FREE tickets to season ticket holders and reduced prices (£15 and £5) to adults and kids ... so at least they made some effort to compensate the fans affected.
Cheers Purps - also just seen Fielden's thread on the same subject so apologies all round

Stadium still half empty by the look of things though. Why does German TV carry so much influence against the mighty power of ITV 4 ?

Am watching Rangers on the BBC website.
