Today i was involved with the shirt amnesty appeal and during the session i had the chance to chat with the above three and i was pleasantly surprised...

Firstly Karl Henry, what a well spoken courteous lad he is. He stopped for around 90 mins, chatted to everyone and seemed articulate, bright and a genuine fan !

He said that the talk amongst the players was .....and listen folks...
no one in this league is better than us, why cant we as a group get promoted .

He praised mm and said that the work ethic and commitment was a given and the absolute minimum mm expects...HE ALSO SAID WE LET EVERYONE DOWN V WBA AND IT WONT HAPPEN AGAIN....

I talked to him about last season under hoddle and he said that as a fan and a friend of many other wolves fans he completely agreed we were poor.

Gary Breen, spoke briefly to him but he made a salient point, i asked him if he wanted premiership football next season or had he come to see out his days....and also if we were equipped as some punters doubted it right for us to be promoted this May.

His reply was genuine, he said you cant pick and choose when the time is right..the premiership is the only place to be and we are fully commited to getting there...

Jody didnt say a lot but seemed a nice guy too...

All in all, i drove back up the M6 even more convinced this season may end in real triumph !

He is, always has time to talk to fans and never seems up himself.

Well done DR, One for getting involved and two for taking time out and giving us the low down.
I met Kark Henry in the Cleve one night and defo is a genuine guy.

I was at the home game in the cup and read his comments in the express and star prior to the game. Hey its good to be positive, its just with so much to put right prior to the last game with them from down the road he went missing.

As I said earlier in the season - Wolves will have a great leader on the pitch in the near future. If he will stay with us and in good health, Karl Henry will be the pure king!!!

I seem to remember once reading on here that you had him do one of his unique portraits of your kids a couple of years ago, did you not meet him then?

BTW well done for giving up your time and your transport company for this appeal, Wolves ought to do more of this kind of thing for local communities as well as worldwide.

no i did it via a friend paul kerr, who looks after both of our finances...

From the comments made by Henry sounds as if everyone is singing from the same hymn sheet, a rare thing at the Wolves but better late than never.
