Surely there's not just me that thinks Michael McIndoe has been a bag of $$$$$$$$ since joining from Barnsley...
I mean the man thinks he's $$$$ing Ronaldo and has yet to beat a man consistantly in a Wolves shirt, a very big let down in my eyes...

It must be said his form has dropped and he isn't a patch on Froggatt at the moment. Dunno what to think. Moot point though

Are you talking about his form for Barnsley or his form at present for Wolves, because for Wolves he hasn't shown any run of form at all..
I think McIndoe has been quite good, he certainly did better than DJ yesterday. Did you miss his cross to Olofinjana or something?

Believe it or not football players are like us, they have bad days. They are well paid bad days, but.
Watched some PL "Stars" on MOD and they looked distinctly ordinary.

Dan Jones is really a left back to me. McIndoe is one footed and is easier to control compared to Kightly who can play off both feet. When Gobern is fit i would like to see Gobern right wing and Kightly left wing. Dan Jones can fight it out with Mulgrew for the left back spot after Mac and Clapham go in the summer.

But not to himself...

someone needs to convince him otherwise then :) .First half he put in a great tackle in the left back spot..as clean as you like.I just can't see him as a left winger..doesn't really get past the full back enough ,and I'm talking about other games I've seen him in not just yesterday. Looks ideal as a defender IMO.

Judging by the commentary yesterday McIndoe was the difference between a point gained and a point lost yesterday after he came on.
♫♪We've got micky micky micky... McIndoe McIndoe♫♪
Wingers tend to be the most inconsistent players in a team. When Kennedy was in form he was awesome for us. Likewise McIndoe will have spells where he isn't as effective as usual. Kightly will be the same. Anyway McIndoe did set a goal up yesterday.

McIndoe hasn't been that bad tbf. He's not consistent enough though, unlike Michael Kightly. Maybe it is because he is no longer the "main man" at the club anymore. Whatever the reason- he wants to sort it out. No doubting he has some skill, but needs to start putting a shift in every game- like Kightly.

I think his most exciting spell was on his debut when he came on as a sub. I think it was actually against Barnsely. Absolutely skinned one of their defenders and almost scored.
Although yesterday i thought he played well, that one touch from murrays high kick was awesome.

Barnsley was his debut as a new signing..........his first appearance was during a night game at Molineux. Coventry maybe

Has been poor lately but did well when he came on.
It's interesting that he doesn't like to stick to his wing and sees himself as having a sort of free role from the left. He's often in the middle and on the right.

Totally agree, he would do a much better job than Clapham as left back.

Which he did yesterday.
Perhaps it is easier to gloss over the mistakes Kightly repeatedly makes, I don't know, but you can't laud one who didn't actually get an assist yesterday, whilst slating the other who did get an assist.
You're talking rubbish mate.

A number of posters were $$$$ing over him when he first joined, but I could never see why. I still don't see anything in him as yet. He needs to improve if he wants to stay first choice.
I just think some fans see us get a young lad in and because it is not the norm for us think he is going to be a great player. Not all our "young and hungry" signings will come off. For every 1 Kightly, there will be 5 or 6 McIndoes.

The guy in front of me was constantly moaning at Kightly for being 'too greedy', which I thought was a bit harsh.

Feel free to check in my post and highlight where I said that. Just because I defend one doesn't mean I am saying the other is rubbish. I'm saying we should be happy that we've got two good wingers, and there is no need for us to rant on about which one is better than the other. I especially disagree with the comment above that McIndoe just wants to be the 'main man' - It's not even based on his playing, just some unfounded statement about his personality.
Why compare them, when we can play both?

McIndoe hasn't been exactly awe inspiring but neither has he been a total disaster. That said I hope to see improvement.

I've noticed when Kightly gets on the ball there is no support or runners for him, seems players just let him get on with it and expect miracles...Something Mick needs to look at me thinks..

I noticed that too yesterday, he was up against 2 or 3 at times - he needs options even just as a foil.........

That's true but playing devil's advocate it would help if he didn't try to run through defenders instead of around them.

I'd like to see Mark Davies play left side much like Koumas does for Albion. He has the ability to drift inside, dribble with the ball and create from that position, whilst we still keep an out-and-out winger in Kightly and two solid midfielders in Henry, Potter and George.

Entirely agree. Mark Davies should be in the side, no doubt about it.
Mcindoe hasn't done it so far. However, we did improve slightly when he came on for the completely ineffective Jones.
Davies to start.

I think McIndoe is disappointed that Kightley has been the guy to make the big impression and that this has affected his own form. I use the word disappointed because I don't mean that he is anti-Knightley just that he has disappointed himself because he expected to be the one that made the immeadiate impression.

So that's Potter who gets the slagging first, then on and off it's Olofinjana and now it's Mcindoe.
Last season it was Kennedy and Naylor. Give me strength - why would anyone in their right mind want to sign for Wolves when you can expect "support" like this.
Welcome to Molineux Macca
McIndoe was considered by Barnsley fans as their best player, I suppose it could be said that Barnsley don't have a very good team though. It's still nice to hear player's previous clubs praising our players, rather than saying that they were a bag of crap that they were well rid of.
I'd rather we signed the best players from Bohemians, Barnsley, Grays and Scunthorpe, than sign the worst player from Birmingham.

I think McIndoe is an impact player who could come on for Gleeson with 25 mins left. Davies is too and come on for Olo.

It has only taken us how many years to start doing this!? Better late than never i suppose.

Indeed, Mick tells em not to slag off Moxey, so they go onto the next scapegoat.
Mcindoe is better than Jones I know that much!!

I have heard that Mcindoe is a bit self-obsessed. He was in rehab a few years ago for peronality problems. He had a bright start to his career then dropped to Non-League and ended up at Donny.
I also have a mate whos a Derby fan, he said he started brightly whilst on-loan then faded into the background.

Hoddle and Jones did that all the time and it never works, it just destabilises the team. McIndoe started well but seems to have lost his bottle of late, he has the quality to go past people but when we played the albion he seemed reluctant to take his man on. He repeated this against Norwich, hence he was dropped for Plymouth. It's clear he has confidence issues, i just hope MM can get him back to his best.
I don't have issue with DJ being in the team, but he's a left back for me and a better one than Clapham..........
