Well that's put a bit of a spanner in the works. As the other half has booked all our matchday tickets this season, and thus been given only 10 points per two tickets, we neither qualify for two match tickets under loyalty point rules, and cannot purchase general sale tickets due to the fact that I don't have a supporter number.

Any loopholes around this?

Phone up. Buy a ticket for the next league home game. Get a supporters number. Phone back order a Cup ticket

My credit card is currently beyond-maxed: Would I be able to purchase a ticket using the other half's card?

It doesn't matter if one person buys the tickets, they get ten points per supporter number she quotes on the number of tickets they buy. Didn't you think you may need a supporter number or loyalty points at some stage and it may have been an idea to get a supporter number??

Yes not a problem.

I have Moxey's wallet. I shall be asking if the ticket office take Subway loyalty cards.

General sale is general sale - you don't need a supporter number already.

They only had measure like that for the Cardiff match.

When you ring up and get your ticket, they will just give you a supporter number!

Providing you have some form of booking history over the last 5 years, i imagine Wolves will still have you on their system. Its a good way of distributing tickets to be fair, because anyone not on the system probably hasn't been to a game in the last few years. I know there are exceptions to this, but its plain unlucky!

Give them your name, house number and postcode if you dont know your supporter number.

But but but.....

With an estimated 6,000 tickets still available for Sunday's eagerly anticipated Cup tie against West Bromwich Albion, Wolves fans have plenty of time to secure a seat, once they go on general sale at 9am on Wednesday 24th January. Tickets are only available for purchase BY TELEPHONE to Wolves fans with existing supporter numbers. People will only be allowed to purchase one ticket per supporter number, up to a maximum of four tickets per telephone transaction.

to be fair if that is the case then moan at the ticket office as they should be providing every customer per ticket with a supporter number

Yeah but you have to pick them up from the ticket office and show NUS card. Or you can pick them up from the collection office on the day of the game (but i doubt thats gonno be a good idea)

You still have to pay the £1 booking fee mind, grrr!

Yeah, it is a bit crap, but I knew the rules all season, so I can't really whine about it now, just try and find a solution :) Trying to get through to check if they've still got my old address on file, and if I have a supporter number....

Well for 'normal' games they're not as worried about non-wolves fans in the home areas - hence the insistence that everyone who wants a ticket should have some kind of purchasing history with the club.

Just called up the ticket office and explained my situation, and they set me up with a supporter number as it was obvious from the purchase history on my address that I'm a wolves fan and not a $$$$ fan!

Absolutely fantastic customer service - I'm really chuffed with the ticket office this evening. Whether I'll still feel like this tomorrow morning is another matter....

Is the general consensus that there'll be a few left tomorrow then? I've been 2 away games and 2 home this season so wont have enough loyalty points to ring up today.

yeah just noticed that on the website, doh! I'll try I think but the odds dont look good.

edit: they seem quite confident in that statement actually, Apparently should only have to wait up to 10 minutes - we'll see about that one!!

Will we actually sell out?

Goldwolf

Last time I bought a ticket for my son they allocated him a supporter number. I'd bought tickets before for him and they hadn't bothered though.

Seemed a bit random.

Not convinced we will sell out actually.

6,000 is a lot of tickets to sell in four days, especially when I presume the tickets available will be mainly in the expensive Steve Bull/Billy Wright Stands.

Looks like the original estimates of 5,300 slack jawed Sandwell folk versus 23,000 mature and cultured Wolves fans in the singing stakes may have to be revised.

If someone has already bought a ticket under their supporter number using the STH priority, are they now OK to buy a couple more in the general sale on the same number?

MobNet Wolf
23-01-2007, 21:00
Hmmm, reading that ticket office bulletin has confused me. I understand I won't be able to get 2 tickets in the general sale on 1 supporter number.

BUT what about just getting 1 ticket after having already used the supporter number to get a ticket in the advance sale?

Any ideas?

Go for it, I cant see them refusing?

I'd advise trying to get through using the - 01902 number first thing before they twig again.

Goldwolf
23-01-2007, 21:08
I would imagine if they haven't sold them all tomorrow they'll then sell them to whoever else wants them to be honest.
