Under 21 International David Bentley Has asked for a transfer, citing lack of first team opportunities as the reason, according to Daily's Mail and Mirror. Out of our league? Worth a go thoughj, He can only say no.

Just the kind of player we should be bringing in but the lower tier of the Premiership will snap him up unfortunately. Could he operate as a central playmaker I wonder? Thoughts?

He's a bit of a Ricketts I think. Ability to run and beat players... arguably, a better player... i think our needs lie elsewhere

He was earmarked at Arsenal to take over Bergkamp's role, so I would think that's where he'd be employed if and when anyone buys him. It won't be us though, unfortunately.

Wasn't he been injured most of last season?

Quick snap him up to keep the others in the injury room company.

He scored twice from 22 starts.

Apparently only Palace and West Ham interested. He could have had a good season at Norwich if he hadn't got injured.

If so, leave him well alone.

Won't come to us. Injury prone. Don't think that he's worth buying - loan maybe worth a shout though

Not interested in this prancing prima donna.

He swanned into Norwich thinking he was the mutt's nuts, proceeded to
play well in only a handful of games and spent the rest of the time
falling out with Worthington or being injured.

Agree with Norfolk.

Dont need him. Priorities are elsewhere.

Just what we need at Molineux with our wide pitch is someone who can hug the touchline and run with the ball. Someone who can beat a man. This is the type of player that would be a revelation at Molineux BUT can't see him dropping down to the Championship is a prem player..

Everytime someone posts that name as topic I can't help thinking of the unfortunate Derek Bentley who was hanged in the fifties.
