It was predicted by many when he signed his contract but I'm starting to believe this will happen now. He seems a little disillusioned with how things are going and after having made such a point of the club changing the way they are conducting business, although we don't get to see everything that happens behind the scenes, this does not evidently seem to be taking place.
He has been left frustrated by some of his targets not materialising in the the transfer market which may or may not be down to the clubs handling of the process, but I'm sure he can't be too happy with the decision to fund the clubs internal development with the Camara transfer money. Even if he knew this was going to be the case beforehand he seems so fed up I can see him back down in the smoke before you can say Alan PArdew's $$$$ed it up again.
What a load of nuts.
Stop trying to stir things up with this $$$$$e.

Glenn will not be leaving newly promoted Coke League Champions to go to newly demoted East End Barrowboys
I hope

Whilst not feeling as pessimistic as PW right now things don't seem to be happening as well as I'm sure GH would like them to.
Less than 3 weeks before the transfer deadline and still no action.

Not trying to stir things up or get a reaction, nor overly pessimistic, just concerned as to whether the club is doing everything possible to demonstrate the shift in professionalism that Hoddle was looking for.
On the pitch things are superb but I feel Hoddle is a man of principle who is the kind of character that would walk out on the club even if we did get promotion if the variables he cares so much about were not to his liking.
IMO he is doing a terrific job and I would hate to see all of the hard work he has put in ruined by him leaving and us replacing him with Tony Pulis.

Perhaps as stated in some circles before (can't state sources) he is simply having problems getting clubs to let go of players and also struggling to sell the idea of Wolves to his targets. I am glad we are not going for all players around and being linked to any old has been, and so the quietness is not so disturbing. I would like to see more cover and new faces but the three we have so far is a hell of a lot better than getting 15 players when only 5 might make the grade.

I hope this is the case. It certainly could be, just wish Hoddles body language wasn't quite so negative!

What plaeyrs bought by Championship clubs would you want us to have bought?

What body language?????
When he's talking about Wolves he has said that he's loved every minute he's been here...If you're talking about the pre-match interviews then i'm sure they are one of the most tedious jobs he has to do, answering boring same old same old questions....
I never realised that there was such a wealth of expert psychoanalysists on this board. Seems astounding how well they know what an individual is thinking, feeling, and proposing to do from a TV interview!!

The Championship clubs, bar us, are broke. The reality is that we are competing against the lower tier of the Prem clubs as far as the transfer market is concerned and such clubs have signed plenty of players that we would have liked. We are obviously at a major disadvantage being in the second tier, hence our failure to make any breakthrough so far.
I still think John Welsh at Liverpool for £1m or less would be a good buy. A big bid for Sidwell (£2m) could also be tried. David Bentley would be worth a big bid too although obviously unlikely we could attract him as a second division club. We just have to keep trying until we succeed. A good acquisition now would cheer up Hoddle, us and the squad so let's pray we get lucky (and that the 'board'/Moxey) are up to the challenge.

You've answered your own point. We're no competiton for the teams in the Premeiership when it comes to attracting players - can't compete on salary, exposure, opportunity to showcase oneself, no guarantee of top flight football, etc, etc. Glenn might attract a few (see below) but Wolves, generally, won't attract players currently playing in teams above us or players who are being pursued by teams above us.
Rohan Ricketts came because he had a connection with Hoddle (he might not have signed for anyone else), McNamara's only offer came from Wolves (and, Hoddle sold the club to him).
