Would rather have signed Luis Figo before he clinched his move to Saudi Arabia.
With either player though, wages are high for someone who will be 3rd choice behind Kightly and Gobern and at their time of life, they want regular first team football.

he's from the West Ham catchment area by birth. He can easily commute from Beckingham Palace. (mid you he can do that to Spurs or $$$$ just as easily)
if he isn't back in the Prem then I reckon LA Galaxy are the most likely, followed by teaming up with his old mate Figo at Al Ittihad rich footballers retirement home

Going to the US is a bit of a waste of his talent, I'm pretty sure he could still cut it in any of Europe's top leagues, perhaps as a replacement for Hargreaves at Munich? The irony would sting, but it would suit all parties concerned, Munich would have a brand to sell abroad and recoup some cash on the initial outlay/wages Beckham would have the chance to win more titles without playing in the Prem and ManUre would get Hargreaves.
Posh might not like it there, but I'm sure she could learn to like bratwust and lager at the beer festival.
