Anyone considered the possibility that the reason Moxey has quashed the Souness story is that SJH is nearing completion of ANOTHER offer ??
Read Moxey's statements on the official website carefully.
If the above is true then Moxey would want to put the lid on the Souness bid in case the new owners deal elsewhere was frightened away.

It did cross my mind that there may be a few irons in the fire, and that Souness and co. might be trying to force the issue.

Seems like the most logical explanation to me.

Possible....I just hope that the whole matter is resolved as soon as possible and that SJH and Moxey are on their way well before the end of the January transfer window.

YES! but I think it is dependent on the arabs getting full ownership of Liverpool.;)

Its me!
I bid £40 and a pickled egg!
I have offered Moxey first dibs on the half time pies!
Its a done deal!
I will invest at least £100 a month into the club!
I will always wear a Wolves shirt because I am a fan and not someone who works for Wolves!
Looking forward to the future! ;)

Yes, some time ago. The issue was broached on the soon to meltdown Souness thread.

I think SJH just wants to protect the club. Souness is after all only the front man and, fair enough, he is a genuine football man. But then so was the Doug who mistakenly brought in the Batti Brothers. If, as some articles may suggest, the consortium is agent based; then we may put the fabric of the club in danger. Consider a scenario where the backers get us into the Premier League and then decide we would be more commercially viable as Dublin Wolves, for instance. It's already happened to the Wombles.
I prefer to side with Sir Jack until the full details of the backers are revealed. In addition, I thought we were all pleased that the club were abandoning the get rich quick approach for a youth development approach aligned with a purchase policy geared towards up and coming talent that would at least reveal a profit if sold on. Going back to a cash based approach does not really appeal unless it is more cash than anyone else has got and £20m is not going to achieve that.
I prefer to side with Sir Jack.
I don't but I'm interested as to why you think he deserves such God like status

Who is giving him God like status? Having read up on several football club owners and their dealings, I'd say SJH was O.K. when compared to most. There are probably a dozen or so football club owners who have taken their clubs from mediocrity to relative success in the last couple of decades and there are also a dozen who have taken their clubs the other way. It's easy to forget that Nottingham Forest were an established top flight club not so long ago and are now struggling to get out of the third division. Who think's of Bradford City as a top flight club? They had a couple of seasons in the sun and look at them now.

I'm interested as to why you edited out an entire post just to pick that one itsy-bitsy titbit, thus removing what was some very good points iterated. You didn't do it because you're completely blinkered and biased that anyone would do instead of SJH and Co. Not all all..........

I heard a few weeks ago from a friend who works at wolves that they were talking to some Arabs
