Hi all not got much time. I have not been on for a while. I have been ill, just starting to get better, back to work soon.

I complained regarding PTV to Wolves.

Below is the reply I received

Dear Andy,

Thank you for your e-mail to Jez regarding Wolves World and I do understand the frustrations evident from the tone of your note.

We spent most of the first half of yesterday’s game trying to resolve the problem. It appears that PTV were trying to ‘dial in’ to Radio WM to pick up their commentary feed but the link wasn’t connecting. Consequently, rather than having no commentary at all, we made the decision to connect to the Barnsley feed. Whilst not really acceptable, at least it gave people the chance to listen to the game, albeit from their perspective.

As I say, I do understand your frustration and we are diligently trying to find a solution to the problem. We can’t change the contractual relationship with PTV but can influence their approach to operational delivery and also customer services. We are also speaking to Radio WM about their long term commitment to Wolves World and, depending on how these discussions go, we will look at whether there are more consistently robust options for the commentary moving forward.

This whole situation reflects badly on the club. Ultimately, you are fans of Wolves and look to us to provide top quality services. Therefore, whilst we rely on the services of third party providers, it is not acceptable for us to hide and use this as an excuse. This is a problem which affects our fans and one which we need to rectify. We will work hard to try and achieve this over coming weeks.

In the interim, should you wish to receive a refund, please let me know and I will ask Karen to forward you the information needed to make this happen. Unfortunately, I can’t administer a refund as it has to be handled by PTV direct.

Best regards,

Stuart Cain

Spicey? Judging by the comment: "frustrations evident from the tone of your note."

At least he seems like he's doing something about it, and from the sound of it looks like he's as miffed with them as we are.

Hope you're back to full health soon GW
