We've only scored 20 goals all season.....this is a worry. Thankfully Matt is in great form today.....but we have to do something at the other end of the pitch. Only Southend have scored less goals.

Teams that score lots of goals usually have a settled strike pair that play every week

I know every team has it's injury problems but we seem to always have twice as many. Looking back over the last 5 seasons I can hardly remember one week when a key player was not out injured.

Agree, but I did notice today that players, especially our new pair were taking more chances on goal today. Could be a start, I think they just need to get more confidence and maybe get a little more selfish and start taking a shot here and there. Another thing, Little and Johnny Mc both played (by the sounds of it) some nice runs up the wing's today.

Agree, but I did notice today that players, especially our new pair were taking more chances on goal today. That has happened quite a bit this season, crap 1st half, much better second, as we're now at the half-time point of the season let's hope this mirrors itself for the second-half of the season....:cool:
