View Full Version : Why do I hate Hoddle so much? Kenny-11 14-12-2006, 22:18 Every time his smug little $$$$$ face appears on my TV I want to put my foot through the screen. Now I have dislike other ex-managers, such as McGhee but I can live with him being a pundit or whatever but not Hoddle. I read his World Cup Diaries and he comes across as a reasonably nice bloke, very dedicated, but also a complete and utter lunatic. He takes his job seriously and I believe he gave 100% whilst at Wolves and really wanted to be a success - which is fair enough by me. I prefer him far more than Tommy Docherty, who I waited for for 2 hours outside Molinuex to finally turn up for his 'meet the fans' session after joining Wolves and who gave the very clear impression that he couldn't give a crap about the fans or the club and really didn't care whether he was successful or not provided he got paid - the ****. It was really annoying because I was just cut-off on the photo in the paper and my mate was in it and he was a Liverpool fan and only came along to keep me company (not to mention the fact that it was my effin scarf!). But my mom got a copy of the photo from the E&S for me. And a few years ago they reprinted the photo in the E&S and this time I was in it - fame at last. I reckon unless you were a$$$$st the 20 or so people who went that day, you can't class yourself as a real Wolves fan.
