I really can't see the point it serves even having a transfer window in this division.

No £1.2 million this time around for the missing piece in the jigsaw.

Recently bought a nice Sony Bravia 32s.
I can't say im surprised by these comments it cements what a lot of us already knew. I don't think we need to plunge heavily into the market but agree that some strengthening is needed.
What I like about Mick is his honesty. He doesn't try to give the fans false impressions and keeps them in the loop. Whether you like what he has to say is another arguement but at least you have an idea of what he is trying to do.

Rubbish, what we should be doing is naming our targets and saying we've got **** loads of money to spend.

Sounds fair enough to me, why pay loads of money for someone who is mediocre?

Agreed - even if we have a reasonable amount of money to spend there is no point alerting clubs to the fact, because it won't go very far.
If Jez agrees the money must be well spent, why was he prepared to give any to Hoddle, or didn't he think like that last year?
Well at least that rules out Potter in the transfer window as he does nothing to strengthen the squad.
For many supporters sanity, he needs to get at least one striker and a creative midfielder in as I can't stand watching the boring dross we've been served up lately.
