Just seen this and I'm quite surprised. Kightly must be some prospect as I'm sure Mick would have been interested in bringing Lawrence here as he's done with Collins.

I thought Mick would have been in for him too.

Hate to say this, but the Potties seem to be a club on the up at the moment!

Ever since they signed Hendrie things have gone well for them. Sort of player Wolves could well do with in their midfield.

A strange decision by MM. He was touted all pre-season to join in some way or another, I pretty certain when questioned MM said he wasnt the sort of player we were looking for.

So we sign two centre halves and a non league midfielder:confused:

Hendrie is going back to Villa soon anyway. Hopefully that might see Stoke slip back down the table.

we missed out here. can see why Keane wouldn't get on with Lawrence though. Often refered to as a lower league Beckham.

Im a little bit suprised by this but have full faith in MM so won't get myself too bothered.

Don't know if it has been mentioned anywhere else but I saw in NOTW sunday that Paul Iffill was going to Sunderland so looks like they have an immediate replacement sorted?

Don't know whether he still has anything about him but when he was at Millwall he was one of the better wingers in the division, maybe worth hijacking?

I sick of saying this. He's rubbish ask any sunderland fan. The same goes for whitehead, get over it. Half a good season 3 years ago and thats it.

Agreed. He's been the difference without doubt. We could have had him down here easily. McCarthy dropped a right clanger not looking at him.

I was banging on at the time about how we should get him before and during the time Stoke showed an interest. Seem to recall many on here making comments such as no thanks, bad apple, will rock the boat etc etc. Really done that at Stoke hasn't he?

"Ooooh, Ooooh, but he's 29, from the Premiership, he'll come down here in his Aston Martin thinking his Billy Big B*ll*cks blah blah blah."

"I once saw him up Arcadian drinking beer, p**s-head, bad attitude blah blah blah."

"Young & Hungry!!"

Planks.

Stoke pre-Hendrie bottom 3.

Stoke avec Hendrie top 6.

Hardly rocket science is it??
