Statistically, you are now more likely to know someone who is in prison than you are to know someone who attends matches at Old Trafford. Obviously, everyone knows someone who needs locking up and also they know someone who claims to be a Man United fan.

I have the ideal answer to the problem of the constantly increasing capacity of Old Trafford and of the prison population rising. Man United should play at the new Wembley Stadium, near to where most of ther fans live and all prisoners should be locked up in Old Trafford and forced to watch Gary Neville.

Cue the bleating of human rights campaigners, moaning that being forced to watch Gary Neville is too brutal.

Well I'm the opposite.

I used to work with a Man Utd STH not long ago, but don't know anyone who is in, or has ever been in prison.

Personally wouldn't mind if Gary Neville played for Wolves. Better by a mile than any fullback we have.

better still, i know a very longstanding ManU STH (20years plus)...but he only goes once or twice a season because he hates the atmosphere at Old Trafford these days.
He uses it predominantly to get tickets for European away matches.
