So because some people do go to every game they are a snobbish $$$$er are they? What a very sad attitude. Instead of seeing them as a loyal supporter you have the nerve to slate them. And where does this "bad people" quote crap come from? Seems that's been hrown in to try and twist things a little.
I can't attend every game because of other commitments at times so only go when I can and I fully understand many other people are in the same position but those who pick and chose the big games to me deserve sod all.
I have never once criticised fans who cannot afford to go to games but those who, as you say, save to go to a few games, should not IMHO get a ticket for the big games ahead of fans who attend far more games.
Those who can only afford a handful of games a season could have so far this season attended every one of the Wolves 4 home games to date if they wanted. That they chose to go for the big games smacks of nothing more than fickleness.
Essex Wolf
22-09-2006, 14:09

If you honestly believe that every Wolves fan who attends the game at WBA is deserving then you are IMV deluded.
There will be so called Wolves supporters there who will be making it their first game of the season. I already know of three Wolverhampton based fans??? who are not ST holders, have not been to any away game this season and between them have attended the Molineux just 4 times so far yet as sure as eggs are eggs I believe at least 2 of them will get a ticket, case of who you know etc etc.
Those who can only afford a handful of games a season could have so far this season attended every one of the Wolves 4 home games to date if they wanted. That they chose to go for the big games smacks of nothing more than fickleness.
Not sure about that.. if you can afford to go to every game, or if the travel is easy etc, then to only go to the biggest games may well smack of glory hunting or fickleness. But if you really can only attend a few matches each season, then trying for the bigger occasions - providing there are seats available on general sale - amounts to an understandable desire to make the most of the money you are able to spare.

I hope the weather is nice up there on the high horse.
If a person can only afford to go to a few games a season.........why should they get them all out of the way in the opening month?? Why shouldn't they try and make it to a game that will be slightly memorable. If they are having to pick and choose then who are you, or anyone else, to slate them because they chose a certain game??
Rest assured, thanks to the advice on this thread, if I do happen to get hold of a ticket for the Albion game I shall be sure to give it away to a more deserving "real supporter", whilst I stay home and self-flagellate.

Mutchy, point is why should a less deserving so called supporter get a ticket for a big match ahead of someone who deserves it more.If seats are spare then fair enough but to just pick and chose those big games is fickle to me.
Whitemouse, you miss the point.I'm not on any high horse just saying it as I see it. Part time supporters should not reap benefits where other more loyal supporters may lose out. I'm not saying those less fortunate financially wise should not attend a game but why should they get a ticket for a game where demand outweighs supply when they haven't attened a game the rest of the season.
fenella, that's very decent of you.
where are you getting this from anyway? You reckon the loyalty scheme doesnt work?

If you're not bleating then you're doing a damn good impression of someone who is.
So having a POV is bleating is it?
Just because it doesn't fit your POV doesn't mean it's always wrong. You should try for once to accept others have opinions and that ot all are of the VW type.

I'm not saying those less fortunate financially wise should not attend a game but why should they get a ticket for a game where demand outweighs supply when they haven't attened a game the rest of the season.
fenella, that's very decent of you.
that wasnt me that said that.
i dont see the problem, you have a season ticket so your seat is guaranteed. so why do you give a $$$$ who gets the rest?
like i've said before, if i decide that wba is going to be my 1st home game and i get a ticket, i couldnt give a $$$$ what you or anyone else thinks.
further to what visage said, i would say you are in the top 3 of all bleat impressionists currently working the club circuit in the uk.

David Bleat?
So someone who can't afford to go to many matches a season is less deserving of a ticket to a big game?
Sorry, I don't agree. if its financial constraints as opposed to choice then who's to say who is more deserving?
