Poor Wigan

They never had a chance before, and now they've just guaranteed doom!

Clearly, they did have a chance before, however slim. Now, as you say, all hope is lost.

Thought this might be resurrected especially as they went through the same scenario with Damien Francis who accepted lower wages and signed yesterday.

I guess maybe I've been a bit harsh on Camara. Damn reasonable of him to negotiate his wages and accept just a paltry £1m per annum.
Makes you realise what a humble and selfless man he really is.

Absolutely Bard the the little devil has obviously turned over a new
leaf either that or he's just turning over another club on his travels.

Please excuse my rudimentary accounting skills, but isn't 1mill per
annum the same as 20k per week? (his original demand). (Less the chump
change of course).smileys/smiley5.gif

The other five clubs that were after him (oh look at that pig in the sky!!) must have offered less than Wigan then

.
Probably find it's a bit of give and take from all three sides... not too much but just enough... if true of course.

Some were saying he was asking for £30k a week GH so maybe it
was somewhere in between.
Main thing is the little Gob$$$$$e may be on his way.

I was wondering if maybe we had said we'd take 3mil or 3.1 so that they
could use the 200-300k from the original 3.3mil offer to pay the
scumbag's wage demands. Was just the first thing I thought we should do
when I heard he hadn't agreed terms.
Whatever happened behind the scenes though, chuffed the whole thing is
over, his presence would only have had a negative affect on the rest of
the lads if he'd been there. Hopefully they'll celebrate his
departure with a nice win over the club he just came back to us
from. COME ON LADS! LET'S 'AVE IT!!!!!
